Getting back to irish fans in general , In my opinion there is a lot of bandwagon jumping going on. Ask many people in Ireland the name of one of the 3 previous dunne opponents and many wouldn't be able to give a name.
Btw isnt ryle nugent the most annoying man ever.

No more band wagon jumping than anywhere else imo.

I live in Manchester and you can see the exact same thing with Ricky Hatton - two of the partners in the firm I work for went to the Mayweather fight in LV yet they had never been to a fight before, let alone a Hatton fight.

I've hated Ryle Nugent for years - with a genuine passion - he encompasses is everything I hate about Ireland. Ronseal!

yeah, I thought he had a fair bit of class on BBH.

In my opinion I thought it was the best night of boxing that I was ever at as well - I thought maybe I was getting carried away, so its good to here that guys like Frank also thought the same.

Have to agree with you i love the irish sports fans football, boxing ,or race horse ones they are fair and honest. That way i work so hard to get Darren Sutherland in my stable and way he will have a number of fighters in Ireland, I all so have a number of presonal friends who are Irish footballers and the story`s they tell me are great. There no better night than sitting in a bar with a number of real Irish guys and talking sport all night over a few drinks.

And Frank think about it….. When your boy Sutherland reaches his full potential and fights for Commonwealth and World titles you’ll be packing the O2 regularly… and if he’s reaches scary heights and wins World titles maybe even Croke Park which has the potential to hold 80,000, (although very far down the line, but its nice to dream!!)

All those Irish fans will pay top dollar (or pound!), lining your pocket, and enjoy doing so because we’ll be watching one of our own win titles, so it’s a win-win situation

So for the next number of years us (Irish fans) and yourself will be bumping into each other quite a bit I reckon
