I wouldn't go to a boxing match in one. It's utterly needless, just promotes tribalism and bother. They should be barred from boxing events, specially in places where there are multiple clubs in that locality. Just stipulate it on the ticket and anyone that turns up in one, tough shit, drop it in the bucket and ask your pal if you can borrow his jumper, jacket whatever.

I don't wear em apart from now and again for 5 aside which I play a lot of.

And the very notion of ever pulling on and going to the pub or anywhere else in an England shirt to dress like a millionaire flop, or cheating pudendum of a flop in Ashley Cole's case, or some sad meathead supporter....No ta. Can support the team all the same without the need for that thanks.

If any wants two expensive tickets - £625.00 each (which is the face value) I have two spare.
No add ons - just a family issue preventing a couple of colleagues from going.
PM me.

The sad fact is that the UK is deeply embedded in the meathead culture. I have lived abroad for 14 years now and every time I am back over it seems to have gotten worse.

The culture is one of tribalism rather then being proud of where you are from. However the worst by far is the meathead brit abroad. As soon as they set foot on foreign soil they turn into even bigger dickheads, believing taht they are somehow "defending" the honour of the country by threatening people and generally being loud, obnoxious arseholes. Sadly i would have to say this is mainly the English rather the scots or the welsh/Irish.

It simply does not happen in other european countries or the states.

Then again when one looks at the garbage the british public are consuming in the name of entertainment, it is no suprise that the real british culture is sliding into shit. Reality TV non stop fed down the throats of those mindless enough to feast on them.

Don`t get me wrong, I am proud of my country and where I come from (Yorkshire) but it gets embarrassing at times when you see the way some of the knobheads act after a few bers.

Forcefraser makes a good point about Brits abroad being loud and obnoxious but I've never noticed this "meathead culture" in Britain, obviously it's there to an extent but this "Broken Britain" shite that media throw in our faces is nonsense, they make it sound as if you are going to get mugged, raped and stabbed to death as soon as you step out of the front door.

I suppose it depends on where in the UK we are talking about. I`m from Wakefield near Leeds and the meatheadeness of the guys on the piss these days is worse than 20 years back, for example.

It`s the "what you fornicating looking at" mentality that I am on about. Totally pointless, but all too common (at least in Wakefield)
