I'm predicting Calzaghe will still top this list in 2012.

Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
Why does Thaxton drop by 1 and Skelton by 1, yet Napa 5, Elcock 11.
Hall leaps in at 26 yet you didn't even rank Bradley Pryce

Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
Calzaghe is RETIRED
Clinton Woods is in the top 10 but not 5
Alex Arthur is no way better than Duddy
Cook should be lower
Maccrinelli should be lower
Skelton should be lower
Rees hasn't fought in a year and is not fighting in the nexth month and should be removed from the rankings.
Elcock should be out aswell
Horse its clear you are showing favouritism to Warren / Sports Network fighters.

Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
Why on earth is mccloskey below duddy?
Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
I think that is unlikely.DavidPayne wrote:I'm predicting Calzaghe will still top this list in 2012.

I'd say because Duddy has a better chance of winning a world title!metropol wrote:Why on earth is mccloskey below duddy?

Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
Surely when a fighter announces his retirement he should be taken off the list , fine if he comesback he can get a ranking.
Whats your reason for leaving him there?

He's only just removed Joe Bugner he re-entered at 29 when news of a rift with Jeff Fenech surfaced.

Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
I would have Cleverly in their somewhere probably at the expence of Elcock
Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
my interpretation of the list is that thaxton actually went UP by 1 place which i cant understand!DavidPayne wrote:Why does Thaxton drop by 1
Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
Also unlikely.Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:DavidPayne wrote:I'm predicting Calzaghe will still top this list in 2012.Replaced by Scott Harrison.
Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
Napa and Elcock fought and lost this month, so they went down a number of places. Thaxton and Skelton went up a place this month, as a fighter who was above them (Elcock) dropped below them following his loss.DavidPayne wrote:Why does Thaxton drop by 1 and Skelton by 1, yet Napa 5, Elcock 11.
If Pryce would have won then he would have entered at roughly the same point. Do you think I entered Hall too high?DavidPayne wrote:Hall leaps in at 26 yet you didn't even rank Bradley Pryce

Why is Rendall Munroe so high up!!!! Who has he beat in world class. He should be about 18th
Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
Odd mix.
Ree's above Brian Magee and Dean Francis ?
JC like others say, is retired.

Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
Yes, but he is still an active fighter as his last fight was only 5 months ago.brian13 wrote:Calzaghe is RETIRED
Who should be above Woods?brian13 wrote:Clinton Woods is in the top 10 but not 5
Alex Arthur is no way better than Duddy
Arthur was a good European champion which is a bigger achievement than anything Duddy has done so far. So there is definitely a case for Arthur being above Duddy.
How much lower should these fighters be? Cook and Maccarinelli were both ranked in the top 10 in their divisions before their recent defeats. How many other British fighters can that be said about?brian13 wrote:Cook should be lower
Maccrinelli should be lower
Skelton should be lower
Skelton has a better record than most of those fighters below him and I don't like dropping fighters like stones just because they lose a fight.
I don't see any need to take Rees out due to inactivity. He will likely fall out of the list naturally in the next few months, as he is overtaken by more active fighters.brian13 wrote:Rees hasn't fought in a year and is not fighting in the nexth month and should be removed from the rankings.
Elcock should be out aswell
Elcock was ranked at No.17 on the list before his loss, so I thought dropping him out of the list completely would be a bit too much for losing to a decent fighter like Macklin.
I don't see how that is the case.brian13 wrote:Horse its clear you are showing favouritism to Warren / Sports Network fighters.

Horse , you need to look up the word ACTIVE and Retired - you can not be both.
You are worse than Dioufy!

Re: British Top 30 P4P April 2009
In a post above your reason for having arthur above duddy was that he was a euro champ and that that was more than duddy has achieved, so by the same logic isnt mccloskey being a british champion better than anything that duddy has achieved?Horse wrote:Because, I think Duddy has the better record.metropol wrote:Why on earth is mccloskey below duddy?

Because, a large proportion of fighters who announce their retirement comeback at some point. Hunter came back only a few months after announcing his retirement.metropol wrote:Surely when a fighter announces his retirement he should be taken off the list , fine if he comesback he can get a ranking.
