Fair play to him, as everyone wants to avenge a loss... but i think he'd get beat up quicker next time, if Froch didn't carry the injuries and pressure of prime time ITV on his mind.

I think he should go for Karol Balzay the WBO champion personally as he has a good ranking.

If he is successful and has a title then it might be a goer.

It was too close of a fight. thats why I think Froch will lose v jermaine Taylor.

I think Pascal will have to work his way back into the mandatory spot with the WBC if he wants another shot at it.

If Froch beats Taylor (which will be tough) then he has another mandatory to deal with against (I think it was) Karo Murat or Marcus Johnson, altho that may change to being Andre Dirrel (sp.) After that Roy Jones has shown interest in being a voluntary for the Froch v Taylor winner and I think Froch would be silly to turn down what would be an enormous pay day for minute risk.

Never been a fan of Froch but he is doing well and if he does beat Taylor he should consider it to be a massive scalp.

He's actually fought with more injuries that you'd ever realise.

He had his knee operated on when he first turned pro, after the English title i think against Alan Page.

He broke the knuckle against Henry Porras (extensor hood as it's technically know) but still got the stoppage.

His next fight was against Matthew Barney on ITV and he didn't want to lose this opportunity to get on the mainstream TV, so he fought with injections in his hand which wore off at the mid-point of the fight. Then the following week he underwent surgery on the knuckle.

Then he ruptured his bicep against Dale Westerman and that delayed his Magee fight (round 3) but stopped him

When he fought Magee he snapped his thumb at the base in round 2 and then stopped him.

His knee went the week after Tatevosyan, he had to have a donor ligament put into his anterior cruciate ligament that summer. He then fought Robin Reid after no running.

Rybacki he was ok apart from a cold he had going in, then against Jean Pascal he ruptured his ear drum against Luis Garcia in Ireland and then when he came back he did some sparring with Nathan McIntosh, Paul David and a few others and then afterwards his rib was aching and he got a scan who confirmed it had a hairline in it.

Now he is going to spar Pascal the fortnight before his Taylor - and you just know Pascal is going to try to take Carl's head off in revenge.

I just hope whatever injuries he gets, dont prevent him to be at his best on the night.

That's quite a catalogue of injuries. Maybe he should starte slapping with his punches and hand pick weak opposition if he wants a long career.

I'd like to see Pascal work his way back into the position for a rematch, ideally win a belt and have a unification/rematch. I think the performance of the standard against Pascal is not good enough to beat Taylor but Froch always looks like he can fight better than he does. Hopefully that's not just an illusion.
