if FW was the promoter on this card this would now be on page10 with people calling this a scandel an how they are all going to cancel their subsription to sky sports
lets just see what youve gotta say after the fight!!!
my opinion isnt about the actual fight, its a cracking match

but its not worthy of sky sports headline, thats a fact

I'd agree with that. It's not meant to insult the boxers, it's a good eight-rounder. Davies has never been beyond six rounds, Edmonds's record is almost exclusively against losers.

I can see what both is sayng and gobbles....

I do see this being a very good fight, i go and watch FW shows and its all one sided fight, i go to a Roy Hilder show althought the boxer are average fighter, some of them with terrible records but because they are evenly Match there are Great Fights to watch...
Gary beat me, dont think im knocking him..

I agree with Real Deal, i think it was maybe a Fav from Napa so FM could get the British title to be kept active....
If he knew what was to happen in his next fight there is No way in the World that Napa would of Relinquished, as the same with me :witzend:

I thought You couldnt do a 12rounder if you had'nt done at least an 8, does anyone know?

Could be one of the domestic fights of the year if Edmonds tries to mix it with Davies. Davies has crept up under the radar after an indifferent start to his pro' career. He turned pro' a little young and needed to physically develop, which he now has. Davies has improved dramatically in the last 18 months. He's got a mule kick in both hands for an 8 stone 6 boxer, the heart of a lion, and underestimated boxing skills. As long as he's patient and doesn't let adrenaline get the better of him and dive in, I can see him stopping Edmonds between rounds 5 to 7.

Done well to make the weight, with the size of him..

Gary is 8/13 on just to win, just over evens 6/4 to win by KO and 3/1 to win on points...

odds on gary at ladbrokes are 8/11 just to win 13/8 for the k.o. and 7/2 to win on points i've took him to k.o. edmonds at 13/8 seemed a very good price to me

Martin, do you have any fights in the mix? Would you fancy taking on Ian Napa again?

Im out in 2 weeks, need to get a couple of wins then im back in the Mix, i fancy fighting who ever has got the Title..
I hear Napa is back in the gym training hard, think he has Paul Hyland in May, dont know how ture this is. Its mant to be over 6-8 rounds which is in Hyland Fav. Think its a hard one for Napa, i know Napa is at a high level but he is at the pace of 12 rounds...

Need to get the British back then a fight with Napa could happen, 1-1 each and i know Sky TV would love it...

Spot ON :TU:

Davis boxed well thoughtout the fight, showed he can box as well as fight, and that he can be Strong at the weight.

The only reason Napa gave it up is coz he had won it out right and he was European champ at the time...

Totally take Gobbles points on board , but is it not better to keep the titles active. I think it is better than the board saying, 'No one is good enough to box for the Lonsdale belt so we're gonna lock the belt away for now.'

Well done to Davies

Congratulations to Gary Davies who I have known since he was a young amateur - last time I saw him though was on the bus
back to Haydock where he still had the stitches from the cut from his loss to Rocky Dean - he was with his girlfried at the time and I told him he would bounce back to greater things and I'm glad he proved me right! Good on ya Gazza! :box:
