Maybe he is wrong. Fight Fax has the same record as we do and they have been receiving the commission results for the last 20 years.

Yea but alot of other local guys have noticed they have missing fights on their record too. Especialy from the early 90's. I know for a fact he won the I B C belt becasue he showed it to me. Next time i see him I'll ask him the name of the guy he won It from. Maybe that will solve this little mistery. Thanks for taking the time to post a reply back.

According to the 1995 American Boxing Record Book he won the IBC title against Travis Harrison in 1994

If you are actually in contact with G.Reed why not ask him to check his record against what we have. Maybe he can point us in some direction as to where to look for these missing fights.

BTW, Fight Fax is an organisation that is "the official database" per the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC) and more generally a source that receives and gathers results from around the world. It was started by cutman Ralph Citro back in 1982 as "Computer Boxing Update". They do have some good contacts around the world (as we do too here at Boxrec.com) but are by no means perfect.

I see youve already made the correction on both fighters records. But For some reason Geen's wins are still at 24. This dosen't make sense to me. shouldn't it be 25-8-2 now? Did u take out a differnt fight by accident wen you put the ibc title fight in?

The IBC title fight was already in there, it just wasn't notated. There is no evidence available to me or any other editor that Reed had more than 24 wins. I have the 2000 Fight Fax, and his final tally here matches what is there. Same thing with the 1995 American record book, which matches through 1994.
