That's absurd. If you're a British subject you should be afforded such assistance and protection as may be necessary and be allowed to pass freely without let or hindrance.
glad to see your still living in a time warp carbo when Britain had Empire what do say should we send over a gunboat too blow the yanks out of the water

I'd suggest no-one buys flights yet. I've been reliably informed that the venue really isn't decided (i thought they Hayemaker were just keeping the cards close to their chest) and that Berlin isn't even the front runner. Can't understand why, i thought Berlin was a no brainer.

If everyone's serious and this doesn't go the same way as the Boxrec trip to Hatton v Mayweather; I will be getting dozens of tickets all seated together so pm me if you're up for it.

Matt - yes, I believe it was, great fight night. The reaction Tapia got at the York Hall remains one of my favourite ever live fight moments.

Emerson: yep, we've probably been at loads of the same fights without meeting up by now, let's find a good bar in Berlin (I lived there for 4 months in 2000 so I still have a bit of local knowledge) and sink a couple of Bitbergers.

Best

Took myself along to see Munich 1860 vs. Leeds United at the Bayer Arena or whatever it's called they share it with Bayern. I hadn't actually made it arena, think it could have been the Olympic Stadion actually, when totally unexpectedly the English national anthem started going off inside the stadium.
I started to cry.........I know what you're thinking.........

.......what a fckin Pussy

I don't even support Leeds lol!

Tommy Haessler mind you, now there was a player.

Sounds like it should be a good turnout then, cant wait!

If it is not Berlin will give everyone all of the options to fly to destination being that work for airline. If it is kiev my airline goes there so free flight for me!

I think Shirow runs a sports package travel company, Queensbury or something (used to be cityboxer?)

Excellent advice.

As with everything Hayemaker are keeping things close to their chest - whilst the media are saying the O2 in Berlin is the favourite - from what I am hearing there is a surprise in store - I hope the Brit fight fans will be pleased - I hope the needs and wants of the brits will be taken into consideration!!! :TU:

a surprise in store?
Its nothing terrific mate - I am going with the rest of the forum in saying O2 in Berlin is the best venue for people to get to - but now contracts are signed there is now the job of maximising the money that can be earned for the fight - thus there has been some rethinking on the venue.

I stress no big shakes - just suprising it might not be the O2. :TU:

I'm hoping it's not Berlin as flights are awkward, in fact i've got a football jolly for a week starting on the Tues after in Poland/Ukraine, so i'm thinking I may go straight to there from Germany!

I am in with both boots.

No decent FKK's in Berlin, so here's hoping for a bit of Dusseldorf. 8)

Team Klitschko has informed Fightnews.com that WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will fight former WBC/WBA/WBO cruiserweight champion David Haye on June 20th at the Veltins Arena in the German city of Gelsenkirchen. The stadium can hold 65,000 spectators and is home to the famous German football club Schalke 04. Previously it was planned to stage the Klitschko-Haye fight in London at Stamford Bridge Stadium, which is home to Chelsea Football Club.
