Gary boxed great last night,he showed he was just too strong for Edmonds. From the interview afterwards,he seems like a nice chap,so congratulations to your brother,he did good.
Im Just waiting for my old mate to get back on the radar on the 17th and back on course to claim his british title back.

Woah hold your horses mate, he's come from relative obscurity to win the title and did it in good style but against a fairly limited opponent. I'd say Napa maybe still would outbox him if allowed of course. A few good british defences would be needed before thinking about any other levels.

Theres some good domestic fights he could be involved in,Napa,Booth,Power(couple of wins first tho)

I doubt Davies will go any further than domestic level, not taking nothing away from last nights performance,he done well :TU:

Davies done well to win the title but like thecobra said it was against fairly limited opponent. imo all he has got going for him is hes a monster at the weight, which would take him so far but someone like Napa would be much to skillful for him over 12 rounds.

dont believe that for a second nappa got totally out boxed in his loss for the ebu and believe me can can box aswell as fight so i believe when gary and napa box eachother he could quite easly outbox him but for the power fight people said he wouldnt win for the edmonds fight people said he wouldnt win so keep thinking the way u all r because im fairly confident gary would keep his power at bay for the napa fight and just use speed and movement 2 beat him which i no for a fact he can do :box:

I think he has reached his potential, possibly could add a commonwealth title, but i can't see him doing anything at European or world level, although he will be quite successfull domestically IMO.

Good fight, good win. :TU:

Both fighters played their part in a really entertaining affair. Good, honest comments from Gary afterwards.

If Ian Napa and Martin Power are possible challengers for Davies, then it's going to be tough for him to hang to his title, but I think we will get guaranteed entertainment along the way. Jamie McDonnell would be a good challenger too.

Style's makes fight and Gary has a Alot better Chance of beaten the Euro Champ that beat Napa...
By watching that fight id say Gary would beat him but its holding on to it thats the problem
But i think it would be a different story against Napa..
I think his come forward, fight, wait and mix it style would suit Napa down to the ground...

Does that make sense coz i feel confused my self

Not necessarily but i think Davies' style would suit Napa.

If Davies shows the commitment and heart that he did against Edmonds then i'd fancy him!
