Witter KO1 mnot that he would go to that level.
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
Blimey, that's one I wouldn't like to watch from an entertainment point of view. Fine separately but together? No thanks.
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
Witter is a drastically over rated fighter on these forums. He was probably just barely on the fringes of world class in his prime and now is on the slide. Probably 55/45 in Witter's favour but I'd give McCloskey a shot. Depends which Witter shows up "Action Witter" or "Stand and Pose Witter"
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
witter would destroy him
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
A very easy night for Witter .. styles makes fights - and McCloskey is perfect for Witter :(

Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
I'm pretty much neutral. I have no national interest in Hatton since I'm Irish, so I just view him as a boxer, one that I expect Pacman to beat. I just find it insane how people here are so hung up on Witter. I never blamed Witter for the fight not happening, I said he didn't do himself any favours with the way he guided his career. The guy has been in maybe 2 fights that were mildly exciting in his whole career. He feasted on clearly weaker opposition until 2005 when he finally made the step up, and then when he did step up he failed to look impressive in beating any decent contender.

Oh; please Cannibal,
at least fess up when you’re caught!
Go to the search query and type Witter in the keyword, your name the in the author.
It’s a quick course in self realization.
In fact in the beginning of this board, (When most of the refugees came over from the
“Seconds Out” board.) Witter was constantly slagged by the majority while Hatton was
walking on water. There was only one small voice in the crowd who saw the real charade
going on… He was constantly attacked, baited and railroaded out of the forum.
Remember Lirva?
The best two fighters in the UK / Europe (One of them who boasted he could fill the
MEN by himself.) had the same promoter and they never settled who was best.
Props to Lirva and Witter; at least they tried their best to make it happen.

I wonder why Branco has vacated. He looked awful against Tolpholla.
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
I am backing mccloskey in this. He is very under rated and shouldnt be written off. If this is in Belfast the local crowd will play a part as well

Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
i think Witter had better KTFO him because i can't see him winning on points when throwing 30 punches a round

Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
I doubt Witter will want this, nothing in it for him. He is better off taking a fight wth someone KNOWN because this is nothing but a marking time fight..Euro title or not...Counter-puncher wrote:i think Witter had better KTFO him because i can't see him winning on points when throwing 30 punches a round
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
So if Witter doesnt go for it, who does that leave in line for the euro title?DG. wrote:I doubt Witter will want this, nothing in it for him. Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
I like Mc Closkey in this one but it will very tight maybe by SD
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
At last a fight in prospect for Witter!! Witter should win this handily....depends if the motivation is there for Witter though, with the crowd against him and if he's not switched on, it could be bad night for him.
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
be a tough fight witter is highly over rated and mc closkey will cause him trouble.
this should happen for european
this should happen for european
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
McCloskey for me... to fresh, to much workrate.
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
I think it would be a great fight to make!, i would have to favour witter.
Re: mccloskey v witter...who wins??
Agreed and he looks to have some power too, which I don't think Witter will like at this late stage of his career. This ain tthe sort of fight Witter would really want against an up and coming, hungry guy who looks like he could edge himself to a world title shot in 18 months or so.stujones wrote:McCloskey for me... to fresh, to much workrate.

Too inexperienced and not ready...
Witter by KO.
