happy enough with this week. for the last few weeks my predictions seemed to follow a pattern. good on the friday night and then going downhill on the saturday night.

was hoping andrade would get a knockout victory when he knocked his guy down in round 7. i had predicted round 8. apart from that it went as well as expected. think thats my first week not getting a -3. lets hope it stays that way. i doubt it though , there is alot of close and tight fights coming up.

im not understanding something here it works on 3 up 3 down so u can get replaced in theory by somebody who has less points than you, by virtue of the fact you were bottom 3 in yours and they were top 3 in their's.

Also I don't know how I scored less than anyone else this week when I picked 4 winners out of 6 including a UD and 3 correct KO's.
I'd never heard of either of those bantamweights so that's why I got that wrong.
Also I'm getting since today only, bloody betfair tabs popping up every time i log on, is this my PC or is it Boxrec??

I'll look into the points later myself, don't worry guys I know it's time consuming this is not a pop.

Is March April and May fights classed as 3 separate events, by which your league ie 1 2 3 or 4 is decided, but at the start of the next month, no points from the prev month are carried forward?

Damn I picked Bradley to win by stoppage but had a last minute change of heart when I made my PTBF pick in the current scene and put a close decision for Bradley.

Oh well, not a bad week :D

after each month the those in the relegation and promotion places move up or down depending on where they are. Then all the divisions start again as if each month is a seperate season but we keep a track of the leader in the run for the prize whichcan be found undrneath the standings. trust me it wil all fall into place.
Gotcha :TU:

Not the best of starts for me :-?

I gambled on Holt having a little too much for Bradley, who i'm not totally convinced about and picked Chavez over Katsidis, which proves that Chavez is now shot :D

I though Povetkin would knock out Estrade and Andrade would knock out his oppoenent aswell :KO:

But as a famous gentlemen with dodgy sunglasses once said

"I'll be back........"

Because there were 21 new posters and they automatically go below DG, who joined last month

Well, if the theory that "the cream rises to the top" is true, then DG should be bottom of the fourth divsion in approx 7 weeks time and justice will have been done :lol:

You must always put down either......UD, SD or MD, after the fighters name

If you just put points, then it is assumed that you mean't UD !!!!

The point scoring for a points win is as follows

UD = 7 points
SD = 10 points
MD = 10 points

If you predicted that a fighter would score a points victory, but got the wrong type of points victory,, then you only score 5 points........as an example

If you had Povetkin down for an SD, the fact that he scored a UD, means that you would only get 5 points

RE- JEFF LACY + ADRIAN DICONU FIGHTS (FRIDAY 10TH APRIL)

Sorry guys, but this coming friday's fights will be nil and void.... :(

Jeff Lacy has had a change of oppenent and the Diaconu vs Branco fight, will now happen in may and not april, which was'nt the case when April's fight list went to print.

This sometimes happens, due to the fact that Mark and myself can't wait intill the end of a month, to post up the next months fight list and that means that we become victims of some last minute changes

Sorry again,

DG 13 7 7 3 7 -3 = 34

:lol:

Thats how , bitch - also there are 36 people beneath me so my score this week put me in div 3 and not the 21 new posters..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Langford

He is 5ft 7 and started as a lightweight!

Sam Langford (March 4, 1883 - January 12, 1956) was an African Canadian boxing standout of the early part of the 20th century. Called the "Greatest Fighter Nobody Knows," by ESPN. Number two on Ring Magazine's list of 100 greatest punchers of all time. [1]Langford was originally from Weymouth Falls, a small community in Nova Scotia, Canada. He was known as the "Boston Bonecrusher", "Boston Terror" " Langford stood only 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m) and weighed 185 lb (84 kg) in his prime.

You think Langford beats Lennox? You tosser!

You couldn't say anything. You couldn't think of a comeback, so you decided to just say "I could say it but I won't!"
