I dont think Mundines power has really been tested at middle weight as Taylor covered up most of the fight and only looked to be trying to last the distance (Taylor went the distance with Abraham remember)

This will be a good fight. I see 3 scenarios.

1. Mundine is just too quick, and Geale gets exposed, geale just covers up and throws few punches per round as to not get counted, and Mundine wins easy UD
2. Like first scenario but geale does not back off, and shows heart and continues to throw punches, only to get caught and put to sleep.
3. Mundine lacks the strength to keep an aggressive Geale off him, and Geale can hurt him on the ropes. Mundines punchers do nothing to hurt Geale, and Geale wins a UD (if this happens, id say Mundine is to past hes use by date and needs to retire).

My prediction is Mundine is going to win. I give him a 60% chance. I wont be surprised if Geale wins it though.

I think this will be an interesting close fight. First of all Mundine has the experience over Geale having fought better quality opponents to date. Mundine will have the edge in speed & I think they are pretty even power wise. As for Geale, he will work the ring better than Mundine & is technically a classier boxer. For this reason I see Daniel sneaking over the line for a close one.

Choc UD :box: :box: :TU:

WHO THE HELL HAS MUNDINE FOUGHT IN THE LAST 18 MONTHS THATS WORLD CLASS??
FROM MEMORY HE HAS FOUGHT SOME OLD OZ BOXERS WHO WERE ABOVE THEIR IDEAL WEIGHTS AND SOME IMPORT TAXI DRIVERS TO STAY ACTIVE.
I'D LIKE TO SEE GEALE WIN

i was at the BEC a few weeks ago for the coldplay concert. its an awesome indoor arena. id probably go for the tickets in the $200-300 range...the $50 would be crap.
i made the mistake of getting the cheap seats for mundine green, i basically watched the whole fight on the big screen. waste of time

For that price, i would want to see 2 or 3 top bills.

Here's a couple of ideas;

Medley vs Waters, Kickett vs Elomar 2,Dib vs Asiku,

Hoppa v solo,Demori v solo, Briggs vs Demori, Kirby vs Briggs 3.
There has to be something special on this card, because if i see a bunch of unbeaten fighters, fighting a bunch of guys from indonesia or so on with a 5-20 record, not going.

Shit undercard by the looks again, good to see Daniel Baff back, but it will still be a shit undercard, they're all 4 round fights and there's about 65 fights, that can only mean one thing, MORE MUNDINE MISMATCH"S. fornicate i really wanted to go, i'm not spending a weeks rent on 1 fight tho, then another couple of hundred on food, piss and Taxis.

1 x 6 rounder and 10 x 4 rounders scheduled as I post this with most of the opponents not listed as yet on the undercard. By the day of the fight, 50% will have dropped off the schedule leaving us with another merde house undercard.

And then there is Dunny Bill Williams listed to drum up a bit of publicity. Whose grandfather is Boxa promotions going to round up to be served up on a platter for Dunny Bill? Or perhaps, Candice Falzon of the famous Clovelly Hotel dunny tryst may be a candidate!
