Rich
I've got a pal from your neck of the woods. His name is Bennie. He says he's chatted with you. My name is Roger. Hope to meet you some day. I live in the colonies(the U.S of A). Have visited your land. As mannerly as folk can get. English pubs should be a primary import to our country.

My pal informed us on another thread(Classic West Coast Boxing ) of your wife's passing. Finding the appropriate words are always difficult. I want you to know that this boxing fan across the Atlantic is a little misty right at this moment about this news.

Today is my birthday. I'll spend time with my family. Now that I know that you've lost a cherised part of your family,I will remember how valuable the moments we live with the ones we love are to us.

You have your children. Your wife is inside of them. God bless you. We'll all be together some day. I hope they have one of those pubs up there. The drinks are on me.Rog.

How you have managed to continue to referee contests at such a high and consistent standard during these past months is truly remarkable.
Very good point ,

Wherever Richie was, whatever he was doing, Esme was never from his thoughts. It is testimony to his professionalism that he was able to officiate to the standard he did / does and I'm sure will continue to do.

This time around, the chemotherapy created dreadful side effects.
I won`t go into the details of that.
I am sad to say that Esme sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep yesterday lunchtime with myself and our two children, Andrea and Jack at her bedside.
May I again through this forum, thank everyone who supported us during Esmes latest illness.
I know that some of you on here will like to pay your respects to my wonderful lady, and I will let you all know when and where the funeral will be.
God Bless you all,

Esme`s funeral will be on Wednesday 22nd April at 12.30pm.
The church service will be at All Saints Church, Stoke Road, Allhallows, Kent. This will be followed by burial at Binney Road Cemetary, Allhallows, Kent.
Afterwards, we will all have a good drink in the village hall to celebrate Esme`s life. :TU:
