Lee Meager has got a shot at Danny Hunt's English title.
The lad has some ambition and is not afraid to let the world know it. I'm starting to warm to him...I think!

The future for Hennessy fighters is clear. With no BBC-TV, they're forced on the road like journeymen.

I slightly favour Meager in this one. Should be an absorbing box-fight.

I'm just warming to the way he seems to try and needle everyone. It's got to be good for hype and build up.

Although I haven't read the link yet I have to say I'm surprised allegedly will risk Hunt against Meager (and deal with Mick Hennessy). Perhaps the link will shed more light on the subject, unless anyone else knows if communications have improved between Hennessy and Warren.
I make Lee a clear favourite over Danny, but whoever wins it should be a cracker.

My guess would be, and it's only a guess, that as Hennessey hasn't got BBC leverage, he has suddenly become a lot easier to do business with.

My guess is. All the promoters are beginning to realise its a demand led market.
i.e. make proper fights or dont get coverage.

This would be a simple yet valuable advance.
