If your booking now with Ryanair(Dusseldorf) or Easyjet(Dortmund) you are only looking at 40 quid return

Where can we buy tickets? I need to book my flights but I want to see the prices of the tickets before doing so. If it`s a 65,000 seater stadium I need to get close to the action.

Will they fill 65,000 seats? Doubt it.

Both Dusseldorf and Dortmund are close - about 30 mins on the train. Dusseldorf is probably better because the airport there is also a mainline train station, so you don't have to go into town before going on to another city.

Here's a link to German trains which should tell you what you need to do. Put in Dusseldorf Airport (of flughafen)

Rat's arse on a skewer. I'm in Berlin then. I could've squared it with the wife to watch it there, but I've a knacker's chance in Basildon of swinging getting to Schalke. Still it'll be interesting watching the fight in a berlin bar.

They obviously expect it to sell big numbers.

What a load of shite - what a crap venue - Dusseldorf is a horrible industrial town - suppose could maybe stay in Berlin - and get a train down to the fight, but this all seems more hassle than it's worth now to be honest.

Dusseldorf has an extremely long road with bars on either side. That will do me nicely for the Friday night.

Flights booked. For those Southerners, RA goes to Stanstead and Flybe goes to Soton. The latter is pricey, though, but it's on my doorstep.

For anyone in and around Yorkshire, you can fly Leeds/Bradford to Düsseldorf with Jet2.com

There are also cheap German airlines which fly from UK

germanwings.com

and you can often get lucky with Lufthansa. I've had an €80 return with them before

bit of a suprise on this one then. Choosing a venue where there is not even an airport.

I booked a flight for me and my brother to Dortmund from Luton for £42 each (no baggage).

Looks like bit of a pain in the arse to get there with a bus into dortmund and then train to gerk... but cheap and good enough times. Is pretty early in the morn with a flight at 7am on Sat but means dont have to take friday off work and get a full day there. Also flight not to 8 in evening on sun so can recover and chill out on sun before making way back.

Anyone know about tickets yet?
