Which one would u choose? Haye/Klit, Hatton/Pac or Froch/Tay
Which one would u choose? Haye/Klit, Hatton/Pac or Froch/Tay
We have 3 major Fights involving British Boxers fighting Oversea's coming up in the next 2 months,
April 25 in Conneticut: Carl Froch vs. Jermain Taylor, 12 rounds, for Froch's WBC super middleweight title.
May 2 in Las Vegas: Ricky Hatton vs. Manny Pacquiao, 12 rounds, for Hatton's Ring magazine junior welterweight title.
June 20 in Schalke: Wladimir Klitschko vs. David Haye, 12 rounds, for Klitschko's IBF/WBO heavyweight title
If you could only travel to see one of these fights Live, which one would it be and why?

I went for Pac-Hatton as its a bigger fight than other IMO. Also in terms of styles I think it will be a better fight than the others to watch and I have to say I am usually biased towards lighter weight fighters. Although Haye-Klitschko and Froch-taylor are potential crackers as well with Haye-Klitschko it will be the first big punch landed wins and with Froch-Taylor I can see it being a chess match to begin with. And one last point - Hatton and Pacquiao are genuine boxing superstars known by a lot of non-boxing fans as well whereas you can't really say the same about any of the other four fighters as yet.
Re: Which one would u choose? Haye/Klit, Hatton/Pac or Froch/Tay
pac Hatton cos i wanna see pac spark him out
Next up would be Haye as i'd like to see him win
3rd would be froch and love to see him sparked out.

Frotch, I'm really behind him and I think Carl has got lots more to show us in the next couple years. Think he's been over shadowed to long. let's get behind him!
He's also not just a boxer, but hes getting involved in domestic scene with working on ITV and makes some valid points.

surprised more havent gone for haye/Klit - big World heavyweight title fight involving Brit, sure to have the buildup it deserves even among casual armchair fans, exciting etc. Although the downside is it'll hardly last long or be the sort of trenches, fan friendly war that Froch/Taylor or Hatton/Pac could be.
Re: Which one would u choose? Haye/Klit, Hatton/Pac or Froch/Tay
All great fights and all i want to see !
All are equally risky for each Brit in question.
And I think all will end in a knockout too.
WOW what a treat we got this month, next month and the month after eh ?

is it no surprise that out of the elite British Fighters
in fights they could be regarded as underdogs
that none of them are warren fighters
Hell slate everyone of them into the ground in the lead up to these
and hell be licking his licks at the prospect of them getting beat![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)

I have already decided; Haye v Klit. Was gonna go to the Froch fight, but can't justify it at the moment and I've already seen Ricky face a P4P1.
Typical though, they come along like buses when you don't want them all at the same time!

I'd be fine with watching Froch/Taylor on tv
Hatton/Pac should be pretty special but kinda had overkill on both fighters last few years
so Haye/Klit it is than as your gauranteed a Big KO eaither way![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Terry D wrote:Froch-Taylor, I have seen both Hatton and Haye fight in the flesh, more than once, so would like to see Froch fight live. Plus, I am a huge fan of Taylor, and one of my dreams is to see Taylor, Forrest and Toney box live. Not been able to get it going unfortunately.
obviously a fan there Terry - did u go to Barrera last month? I did, mainly to see Marco. Past it or not.
I went for Froch Taylor as well.
saw Froch Tatevosyan, very impressed.
saw Hatton Tackie.
Never seen Haye (in the flesh I'm talkin about).
Even if I hadn't seen any, I'd plump for Froch fight.
Unfortunately I think Frochy might get done, I hope not.
Re: Which one would u choose? Haye/Klit, Hatton/Pac or Froch/Tay
Froch/Taylor is the standout fight for me here. It can't fail. Small arena and $200 ringside too
Re: Which one would u choose? Haye/Klit, Hatton/Pac or Froch/Tay
Wow - tough question... for me out of Hatton vs Pacquiao or Haye vs Klitchsko. I can see Haye vs Klitchsko being a bit of a stinker, but then its the "world heavyweight championship" and you know both guys could end it with one clean punch.
Hatton vs Pacquiao is surely going to be a classic, with two better fighters P4P. However, I give Hatton less of a chance than I do Haye and its not for a "classic" title.

I would give Froch v Taylor a miss if I was forking out to travel; I would go to the fight if it was in the UK but neither fighter excites me enough to see me cash in my air miles...
Haye v Klit could be an epoch forming moment. Or it could be a two round blow out.
For almost guaranteed high octane entertainment in the main event I would plump for Hatton v Pacman.

Re: Which one would u choose? Haye/Klit, Hatton/Pac or Froch/Tay
They're all SO good! I love each fight.
Hatton vs Pacquiao - Should be an amazing fight to watch, regardless of who wins. I wouldn't choose to go to this one as it's on such a big scale.
Haye vs Klitschko - This is the one I've voted for. The reason being that this one would mean the most for British boxing, at least in my eyes. I see Haye as the biggest underdog of the 3 Brits, and I'm extremely proud of him for having the balls to make this happen. His confidence is inspiring. Also, the more money Haye makes, the more money he can put into Hayemaker.
Froch vs Taylor - Very tough fight for both boxers. They're both going to take some heavy shots. I am sure I will enjoy this fight, though the ending could be unsatisfactory (close points victory for Taylor).
I really hope we have at least one winner. Hatton vs Pacquiao is one where I would be quite happy with Pacman winning, though. Haye and Froch winning is much more important to me.

I would choose Pac Hatton it will be a great fight with a brilliant atmosphere
Re: Which one would u choose? Haye/Klit, Hatton/Pac or Froch/Tay
Froch vs Taylor is obviously a good fight aswell, but not quite on the "level" of the other two. Froch isn't established as a champion and Taylor is no longer a champion. All 4 of the other fighters have not lost their belt in the ring and are considered "champions" and established ones at that.
I think the first few rounds will be telling in the Froch vs Taylor fight - if Taylor can take Froch's power early, Taylor has an good chin, but the only fully fledged Super Middle he faced was Jeff "telegraph" Lacy - if Taylor can take Froch's shots, then I think it could be a bit of a clear points win - with Froch being game but schooled.
