Lets all go to germany!
Re: Lets all go to germany!
I'll be there. Planning on getting a flight to Dusseldorf on Friday 19th and then staying at a hotel for 3 nights in Gelsenkirchen. Haven't booked anything yet though.

Surely it would be better to stay in Dusseldorf, after all, after the fight, there ain't going to be a whole lot to recommend staying there is there, or is there something I don't know about Gelsenkirchen? The Law wrote:I'll be there. I like exploring lesser-known towns ........ and if I get bored Dusseldorf is a short train journey awayjamesmcdonnell wrote:Surely it would be better to stay in Dusseldorf, after all, after the fight, there ain't going to be a whole lot to recommend staying there is there, or is there something I don't know about Gelsenkirchen? The Law wrote:I'll be there. Oh dear, "Like Sheffield" eh? That's clinched it, Dusseldorf it is.BIGMARK wrote:looks like i am going just need to tie up a few loose ends. I called a german friend of mine today who knows the area well and he told me the stadium is great and even though its an industrial area a bit like sheffield its quite nice with friendly people.
Only kidding, Sheffield's a great town.

Yes, i'm Jon from Queensbury Travel. I've been busy reserving flights and snapping up as many rooms within walking distance of the Arena as i can since the announcement so haven't been on much.
I'm in contact with the promoter and i've requested a big block of tickets all seated together. The pricing hasn't been released yet but i'm thinking of €100 tickets. Is that what most people had in mind to spend? I'll be getting tickets some top tickets too.
In case it hasn't been announced the tickets go on sale on April 17th.
