Tyson Fury interview

Post by TheGoods »

Had a word with Tyson Fury over the weekend. He had plenty to say! Some of the stuff he had to say about David Price (second part, including Price and David Haye opinions, will be out from Thursday) was comical. Comes across as a decent bloke

The world really is Fury's oyster in as much as he's a young heavyweight who can really fight. And he's white.
He's white? Then consider me well and truly on the bandwagon.

The days of a Great White Hope are well and truly gone, people are now looking for a Great American Hope

LOL.. Did the person who wrote this article not realise that all the Heavyweight World Title holders at present are tall white men who don't have a lumberjack working background?

Tyson is hot at the moment for sure, but let him have a few more fights and step up a level, then we will have a clearer picture.

Exactly my thoughts, very surprised ITV put this up!

To be fair to Fury, he doesnt mention it in the interview, so it seems to be a ridiculous attempt at generating interest in a poor interview from the journalist.

I'm glad most others don't like the race angle. It's not a good idea.

The actual interview itself is nice. I would like Fury to have been asked about the opponent for his US debut. And if there is a plan mapped out and what is it?
