Boxing Authority of NSW - Notification

The Authority had resolved on April 7 that all boxers will in future not be permitted to compete for 5 clear days after each bout.

This had been reduced from 7 days. Good move, as most of proms are on Friday, which effectively put guys out of business for longer than 7 days.

Is "proms" Gold Coast speak for promotions?
