Young Mutley could pull of a surprise a step up in quality for Brook compared to Ewell. But I epect Brook to win on points.

Brook will blow him away inside the distance.
Re: Kell Brook vs Muttley
If he blows him away. They should get him fighting on Khan or Mitchell bill for Euro title.

Too right Counter.
Can't believe anyone would see this as a points fight.

Agreed - in my view Kell Brook is the most exciting prospect we have in the sport - lets hope he now proves it.twenty six wrote:Brook will blow him away inside the distance.
Re: Kell Brook vs Muttley
A lot of you fellas rate Kell Brook and I think we'll see where he is going by the end of the year.
I saw the other day the Board have ordered the winner of Kell v Young Mutley to fight whoever wins between Watson and O'Donnell. There is also a final eliminator between Matthew Hatton and Michael Jennings.
If Brook is the man standing at the end, he must be considered one of best hopes for a major titles

Chris,
Sadly it won't get to that point.
Kel will be fighting for titles beyond British level very shortly.

Incidentally, anyone any news on the hand injury Kel suffered in the last fight ?
Re: Kell Brook vs Muttley
The Pole who I think Jennings and Bami beat has been mentioned, but I don't think he is any better than what we have despite holding the European title.twenty six wrote:Chris,

I would love to see him fight Jennings before moving on.
All the best to him, he seems a decent enough fella when I have seen him on TV

26- yeah, no way on earth i can see that this goes 12
to those predicting a Kell blowout though, as myself and Terrible Terry have said before,Mutley is patient with that big left hook and will be trying to set traps for kell to walk onto it. Kell better box clever is all I'll say

Mutley is a bloody good boxer - gutsy so and so - problem is I just think Kell Brook is exceptional.Counter-puncher wrote:26- yeah, no way on earth i can see that this goes 12

I PERSONALLY THINK MUTLEY IS THE ONLY ONE DOMESTIC LEVEL WISE CAPABLE OF GIVING BROOK ANY KIND OF TROUBLE BUT STILL THINK BROOK WILL K.O HIM . AROUND MID WAY . I REALLY RATE BROOK AND SEE HIM BEING THE NEXT BRITISH SUPERSTAR . HE WILL BE A WORLD CHAMPION , NO DOUBT IN MY MIND

This may come as a shock to you Emma but I dont live and breath boxing.
I do have a job.
Thanks for the info Dan.
Glad about that - heard it was a nasty injury.

Re: Kell Brook vs Muttley
Kell has world class written all over him!! He'll take Mutley out in sensational style I think..Mutley is a decent fighter I think too BUT Kell really is something..The kid can punch he's slick and has all the moves to go with it..
Re: Kell Brook vs Muttley
it was quite nasty but hopefully by resting it properly it will have healed without any ligament damage - which is apparently the key thing to prevent it recurring.
training and sparring is one thing though - i guess the only real way we'll find out is when kell lets the punches go in a real fight.
