Though with his Achilles problem you can’t blame him taking an easy one, McCline I feel would have beaten him, and facing a heavy opponent as Jameel would have been suicide, especially now with the latest injury.
On another thread somebody asked for a better opponent better worth 15-25k to face Skelton, here we have it.

I read this fight was something of a coup for "Straight Out Promotions".
On another note, I think there's something of an untapped story to Tyson fighting in these Southern states. I don't know if any American boxing writers have wrote on it - since I don't read any - but one of them could produce a good long piece if they dug into it.
