Chi-Sugama

Post by steve689 »

Don't know if anyone else has made a post about the SKY fights last night but Injin Chi's first defence against the brave Eiichi Sugama in Korea. The main event was a BELTER!! Chi came forward plenty and mostly overpowered unknown Sugama but the Japanese man dropped Chi with a left hook/right hand combination which the poor ref failed to count. This showed that Chi can be hurt and in another later round he was again rattled and nearly dropped with a right hand. Chi was possibly weight drained after coming in 2 pounds over before burning it off, he was possibly weight drained but still he can be hurt and can also be outboxed.

On the undercard Heong Sik Lim beat Joel Bauya. Lim had a leaky defence and threw too many wide punches from waist height which negated his power. He was way to easy to hit and unless he tightens up he won't go to far. Still a welcomed surprise of a card on SKY Sports!!

i think the weight trouble had something to do with him being hurt. He didn't look in as good a shape as usual. He didn't look ripped like he did against Brodie and Morales.

I wanna see Chi-Pacquaio now! I give Chi a very good chance, but as you say, we know Chi can be hurt, and Pacquaio has awesome power. That will be a war, i'd love to see it.
