Didn't see the fight, but reports are excellent...

I've liked Williams for a long time, but he's struggled to get fights as it is. Unfortunately for him... beating Winky so convincingly isn't going to help him get anyone else in the ring with him.... he's just not a big enough draw. Shame, as he's one of the best out there at the moment IMO.

Looked very good against Winky. The way he trebles the jab is beautiful. Not gangly or akward either considering his height and slight frame. Kudos to Winky for hanging in there the full 12, considering hes been out for 21 months.

Another amazing performance from Willams. Winky looked sharp too considering his age and lay off. I think tall Paul gets hit too much to mess with Abrahams and maybe Pavlik too. I think he genuinely is a Light middleweight who can make Welter. I think he could prove to be the best fighter at LMW & WW [edited] so i'd like to see him try to clean up there first if at all possible.

Absolutely, would love to see this guy beat Pavlik and Abraham in particular. Be great to see him go over to Germany and starch him.

Probably beat him on points though, provided he doesn't get ripped off by the judges...

Nice interview with him in BN the other day as well, seems a very humble guy.

You could also question the Margarito win going off the current form line.

Williams beat Margarito before hands of plaster was caught, right before he crushed Cintron and Cotto, I don't see how you can question that. And if you didn't know he flattened Quintana in two minutes in their rematch, and won almost every round against a guy who outclassed Tito, Mosley twice, and beat Taylor in the eyes of most people. Williams is going to be very tough to beat because there just aren't any other fighters out there with his awkward style, size, work rate, and freakish stamina and its hard to prepare for a guy like that.

Outstanding performance. The guy is a freak of nature IMO. He takes a good shot too so I can see him beating both Pavlik and Abraham.

He did very well, but agaisnt a bigger hitter it could spell trouble - took too many some shots flush!!

Although, he threw around 1million punches!

id probablty fancy cotto to take williams. floyd might be able to nullify his offense with his remarkable defence. the likes of cintron, mosley, or any over the other 147 boy would get done and at 154 i can't see anyone living with williams. at 160 we know pavlik is a plodder and i believe he is not near to williams league and would get hurt. abraham is too methodical imo. i'd love to see williams against calzaghe (who he called out in the post fight interview) but i doubt joe would come back to 168 to fight this monster.

A pure physical phenomenon, nothing like it, skills wise he isn't the best, but pure size (and boxing size of reach/height), athleticism, stamina, speed. I really don't like his style but his physical ability is outstounding, once in a lifetime sort of stuff

Let us not forget Winky arguably beat BHOPs and Taylor, BHOPs arguably beat Calzaghe and schooled Pavlik. Not to mention Winky schooled Mosley and Trinidad and arguably hasn't lost outside of being jobbed since 1994. Winning by shutout against Winky is still a big big deal.

Other than that how about Martinez, Santos, Dzinziruk, Kirkland, Forrest, Foreman or even Angulo in the near future? Plenty of great fights for him at light middle before we all start believing the sun does in fact shine out of his arse. Credit to Wright for fighting him after being out of the ring for so long but it does take something away from the win especially when coupled with his age.
