Robot, Ali didn't beat Foreman twice. They only fought once, in Africa. If you call Larry Holmes jab, "pitty patt", I would hate to hear you describe other jabs. Just my opinion, but Holmes had the best jab I ever saw. That was a weapon. We can argue forever about Ali, we won't agree. We also won't agree about the caliber of fighters that were around in the 60s-70s. I was a big Frazier, Ali, Quarry, Chavalo, and Foreman fan during that time, but when I look back at them, they just don't look that good to me. I was extremely impressed with Holmes when I started watching him, he was a complete fighter, plenty of heart, the jab, a decent right hand. You have a point, Holmes didn't fight anyone with the name recognition of Frazier, Foreman, Ali, but some of his competition was excellent. Guys like Witherspoon, Carl Williams, Cooney, Bonecrusher, etc. were big, strong and dangerous. I don't mean to run down anyone's favorite fighter(s), as I mentioned earlier, I like all of the heavys of the 60s-70s, but when I watch old video, they just don't look that good to me now.

Point taken about Foreman , i meant to say Norton actually. Typo. Anyway, i guess that we'll have to agree to disagree then. And by the way, Ali is not my favourite fighter i am just a firm believer of giving credit where it is due.

Hi,

Anyone who thinks Ali was the greatest should read this:

Seems more like a man with no honour to me!
