fair play to haye for taking a challenge[challengers usually knock 30 bums out before doing this] but i can see him getting knocked out here.enzo should fight nelson and the winner of these 2 battles meet :P

No chance Haye gets beat.

David Haye is a Rolls Royce. Different class to Thompson. Yes he doesn't have the same experience, but he is a different CLASS.

Haye wins this with ease. Thompson is wayyyyyyyyyy past his best and just has that punch. haye should be clever enough to see it coming and stay away from it. Haye will pick thompson off and force a stopage in round 4 or 5.

With all his talent Haye should win this but if his defence isnt up to scratch then there is every chance of him getting caught and despite his age Thompson is still a decent finisher and an upset may be on the cards. This should be a cracker !

Where do you get tickets for this? Have yet to go to a fight since moving to England and might make this my first :)

Haye should be too quick for him.

But ask yourself these two questions.

1) Can you see Thompson being decked but getting up to win?

2) Can you see Haye getting decked but getting up to win?

I know who I would fancy in this situation.

Haye hits a lot harder than Rothman and if thompson does get up after going down then as long as haye is calm and picks his shots from distance as he did with williams then I can't see him losing and agree with Riddick that it could be all over in round one. Even with a heart as big as the cats, he isn't lasting past 3.

But the ref would have been justified in stopping Haye. He was badly hurt.

I doubt that Mock punches anywhere near as hard as Thompson.

Should be a great fight though.

Just been thinking about this and nost people here are predicting a straight forward win for Haye. I am also expecting a Haye win.

However, the thoughts before the Williams fight was that Haye was taking a risk and that the fight woud be 50/50ish. Haye beat him and many seem to think he will do the same to Thompson. Is it really that straight forward - surely Thompson is considerably better than the Arthur Williams who fought Haye?

Dont forget, Haye has a great amature experience that's why he's so mature and classy in the ring. Lack of pro experience yes but at the end of the day, unless he gets caught (which he will be very aware of leading up to the fight) Haye should win by knockout...
