Haye no4 "what" boxrec rankings stink,

Post by boxinghistorian »

My faith in this site has gone right down, the rankings policy. This majic formula you use to calculate a fighters worth is a lot of bull, i have reviewed it and there are several miss calculations.

Boxrec computers are computers, tools for us they are not our master. What the hell is David Haye doing ranked at number four in the heavyweight division? It seems boxrec has bought into all the hype and bull. You as boxing fans wont need reminding,,,,just who Haye has fought, noone to deserve this ranking, he has not even fought a top ten ranked fighter yet, this is a joke at best he should just be breaking into the division. Remember boxrec fighters should be ranked on their achievements in the ring, not on the size of their mouth.

It has nothing to do with hype. It's computed. See here: http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.php/B ... escription

honestly who gives a fvck

try and get out more, eh?

at least Haye is going for it unlike a guy who deserves to be 4 or higher, Povetkin, the mandatory to Wlad.

give him credit for going for it, like he went for it at cruiserweight. i wish he was fighting heavyweight contenders to earn and ready himself for Wlad. Like he did at cruiser with hard European fights that bordered on world class, prior to Mormeck.

There's a thread on Current Scene for ranking irregularities.
