Help: Boxing Gyms in Portsmouth?

Hiya Gents (and ladies)! Looks like I'm going to be living in Portsmouth for a year so was wondering if anyone knew of any boxing clubs in the area. Although I've had some amateur bouts at this moment in time I'm not looking to compete but rather a place to train regularly and spar as well.

I've had a look about but the only place I can find is a Muay Thai club. I would even consider giving that a go but they charge four quid a class(!) so if I wanted to train five times a week thats £20 a week - for that money I could join a fancy pants health club!

Any help much appreciated.

Firstly, condolences for having to live in Pompey. I'm sure whatever crime you've committed doesn't deserve that punishment.

I'm going to BIll's gym next week (probably Sunday) if you don't wanna be on your todd.

Thanks Bill, Emerson, sounds good. I won't be moving until mid June but I'll be sure to drop you a line once I'm down. So health clubs down that way charge over 80 quid a month for membership? Oh well.
