I don't think Hatton is very good jabber, you pointing out flaws on Pac,but Hatton was hurt by Lazcano and hasn't been in with
a come forward fighter since Urango and and a boxer-puncher since Floyd.

Luck & Heart and a good chin doesn't give you the tools to beat an elite fighters. What offense is Luck, Heart and chin?
I guess Froch beats Taylor with those skills. I believe Hatton and Froch can wn, but just saying they have heart and chins

You seem like a good dude, so don't take this the wrong way I thought picking
a winner for fight seem to have some thought other than his countryman bias for
Hatton, Froch and Haye and no questions these guys can win, but to just hope
Hatton gets lucky or Haye hits Klitschko first or Froch has a good chin and heart
are they need to win with no plan i.e. (body Hatton, movement and jabs then getting
inside and landed with fast combinations , Haye or Froch going to the body to negate
Taylor's movement and then getting inside and land the uppercut.)

Fair enough, mate. I will give you my specific reasons why I think Hatton will win.

He's the bigger man. Apart from beat a dead de la Hoya, Pacquiao hasn't fought above 135lbs. Even then, he's only fought the limited Diaz (looked sexy doing it mind). For me, that's a lack of experience against the big boys. Also, we've seen Pacman KO'ed twice to the body in his career - body-shots happen to be Hatton's forte. And you said Hatton had no jab - that's funny, I seemed to see it land on Malignaggi's face plenty enough. Furthermore, if Hatton can drag this fight into the latter rounds then that's where I think he can land a body-shot on the fatigued Pacquiao. Remember too, if Hatton cuts Pacquiao, that could push the fight into Hatton's favour - was it the Marquez fight where that half-serious cut really got to Manny? I think it was.

Hatton might get cut, but that's now really a non-entity unless the cut's that severe for the fight to be stopped. He seems to manage okay with cuts, so even if we see Hatton cut, then I don't think it will be too bad unless it's a fight-stopping wound.



Real 50/50 fight in my view, but I am siding with Hatton.

Funny how this discussion has turned from Khan vs Kotelnik to Pac vs Hatton :) I personally am not fan of Hatton's at all in the ring but credit is due to him making the most anticipated and exciting fights from time to time! Kosta, FMJ and now Pacman are superb fights to make.

For me if they were naturally the same weight Pacman would beat Hatton everytime. He is too fast, powerful and accurate. Hatton, ever since Kosta has blown hot and cold and looked a bit worn at times. I have posted on other forums months ago that I thought the Kosta fight and certainly the FMJ ko had had a big effect on Hatton and he was on the slide. He did look a lot better against Malignaggi but he was fighting someone with zero power and he still got caught a lot. His vunerability is why I think Pacman will win this time also as Pacman will make him move too much and catch him too many times. If Pac is carrying his power up fine which I think he is then Hatton won't be able to cope for 12 rounds as I don't think he has another 'Kosta' war left in him. As someone else said Hatton's best hope lies in his body shots but Roach is a master at tactics and I they will have a better gameplan to frustrate Hatton much like FMJ did.

Since Witter inspired this discussion, I just would like to add Hatton should have fought witter. As much as Hatton has got great fights I really wish fighters would do things the right way like Haye did at cruiser etc. Get European, then world, then unify. Hatton has got belts to then vacate, move up, back down too much. Too many fighters are getting, or having to do this these days and I hope for boxings sake someone sorts it out and puts some kind of respected structure in place. No other major sport operates in such a bizarre and often self destructive way!

Oh, and I think Kotelnik will most likely beat Khan. He pushed Witter close and I think Witter would destroy Khan. Khan pitter patters too much, lacks consistent accuracy and has no chin. The later will always be his downfall.
