Watson / O Donnell
Re: Watson / O Donnell
that time when he got lost in the rabbit warren of corridors and backrooms - classic cringeworthy moment. think it was thaxton v melero night.
Re: Watson / O Donnell
find him blase & snotty, like it's beneath him.
Re: Watson / O Donnell
I thought Watson won it, close but clear... fantastic fight, a real credit.
I think both can improve on the performance, but I think O Donnell was tactically wrong and he might benefit more in a rematch.

He is cringeworthy in everything he does. Terrible interviewer/presenter, uncomfortable viewing and Im sure the boxers are pretty uncomfortable with him. Scary man.Autobarn wrote:that time when he got lost in the rabbit warren of corridors and backrooms - classic cringeworthy moment. think it was thaxton v melero night.
Re: Watson / O Donnell
Great atmosphere at the fight.
It could quite easily have gone to Craig Watson.
O Donnell should have stuck to the boxing in order to win clearly, but that's what made it a superb bout to watch.
O Donnell mixed it up enough to make it entertaining,Watson was solid throughout.
I wouldn't call it a robbery.
Watson stayed steady while O Donnell either took his foot off the gas or came inside when he didn't need to.
Very interesting style match up.
Great advertisement for British boxing and one of the best fights I have seen this year.
There is no way you can call Craig Watson a loser here, that kid fought extremely well.
This could easily have been scored a draw or have gone in Watsons favor.
A fair man would call rematch without a shadow of a doubt.
And I'd gladly watch another between these two.
Superb contest.

Did anyone else think that Duke came out with some right tosh when commentating on this one?

I could watch round 13 of that no problem.

The defeatist mindset rules with some people.
No offence.
That bout would have graced any undercard of a major fight in the United States.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Boxer v Puncher duel which went back and forth the whole way through.
So some saw it for Watson some for O Donnell.
It was a very close fight and well fought.
For me there was no questioning the entertainment quality.
