Australian light Heavyweight Title

I notice on the 'Boxrec' list of Australian Light Heavyweight Champions there is a gap between Clive Stewart's successful defence of the title against Bob Dunlop and "Stretch" Anderson winning the vacant title against Guiseppe Bertucci on April 11 1969. I was under the impression that Dunlop won the title after Stewart retired. It is unusual for an Australian title to be vacant for four years, especially at a time when there was no title between Australian and Empire. Could you please check this for me?
