Class!! Steve 'the viking' Foster once told me that him and Boothy was sparring Nigel Benn in Tenerife and Boothy got in to spar with Benn with a ginger curly wig on under his headguard!!!! Apparently Nigel didn't see the funny side so absolutely pummelled Boothy for the next 3 mins. When the bell went, Boothy started doing press ups in the ring saying 'come on Nig, is that the best you got'!! Absolute class. :TU:

Things like this do stir up the age old argument - I wonder what would happen if journeymen tried to win.

Of course, it would make the redundant but I do wonder how much more fun it would be and how much more youngsters would learn from opponents who came to knock them off their sequined perch.

booth may have finished his career as a journeyman (who always had a go) but it wasn't always that way...

Good old Tony, tough as old boots. He’s from my neck of the woods, he’s a taxi driver now, picked up my mam and dad the other day, hopefully he will pick me up and will can have a natter about the sport.
