The above result should be changed to a newspaper win for White. At least according to the Pittsburgh Post which is the stated source above. Not sure how it got switched to a win for Madole. The headline read "White Outpoints Hughey Madole" The article goes on to detail how Madole made White fight his best but White was too clever and skilled. White was one of Pittsburghs best African-American fighters of that era for the record.
