Does anybody know if this is true, but I seen that it is being held in San Antonio, Texas this year? Does anybody know?

That is correct it will be in san antonio

Also, the Games of Texas will be held in San Antonio. It is a very popular tournament for Texas amateurs..

2009 Boxing Information
Dates: July 23rd - July 26th, 2009

Facility: Woodlawn Gym

Address: 1103 Cincinnati Ave
San Antonio, TX 78201

Rules: This tournament will be governed by USA Boxing Rules and the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation

Eligibility and Divisions: Participants must reside in the state of Texas in order to compete. You must be currently registered with TAAF as well as USA Boxing and bring proof of registration in order to compete. Coaches must also be registered with USA Boxing. If you do not have your USA Boxing Passbook, you will not be allowed to compete.

Registration: Registration forms and procedures will be available soon

Entry Fee: TBD

Tournament Info: Physicals will be held one hour before each session begins.

There will be a mandatory coaches (or independent fighters) and officials meeting prior to the start of this event. Date, time, and location will be available soon.

Tickets: You must purchase a ticket attend this event.
