Re: 2009 National Golden Gloves
The Cleveland GG will have its finals in a week but the early picks to win are EDDIE ALICEA AT 152, YAUNDALE EVANS AT 132, ZEDDIE ADAMS AT 141, AND TERRELL GAUSHA AT 165. ANYBODY ELSE HAVE PICKS OR COMMENTS ON HOW FAR YOU THINK THESE GUYS WILL GO IN THE NAT'L TOURNAMENT?
Re: 2009 National Golden Gloves
The New York GG are going to be televised on MSG on tape delay the following week. Anybody know if any of your local golden gloves are being televised locally, maybe we can exchange copies.
I know San Antonio GG is available on demand - anybody have access to it?
Also, any word if the 2009 National Golden Gloves is going be televised?

Re: 2009 National Golden Gloves
who are you? your name as a fighter so i can look out to see u cause if u think u can beat Pagan easy i got to see this. People underestimate pagan's power and boxing skills until they get hit by him and he will be at the 2009 GG Nationals unless he is injured.Unit wrote:I expect to be there at the nationals this year

Re: 2009 National Golden Gloves
do you think any indiana's boxers will win the nationals this year
Re: 2009 National Golden Gloves
When was the last time they had a boxer win the national GG's? The last time they had multiple champs in one year? It is not that easy to have multiple champs. There are 30 or so franchise and only 11 champs so the odds aren't great.indiana's_best wrote:do you think any indiana's boxers will win the nationals this year

Eddie Alicea is my pick to win GG this year at 152. Eddie is looking really really good! Eddie also beat Brett Simmons and DelVaughn Williams this weekend to advance to the U.S regionals.
Re: 2009 National Golden Gloves
i dont kno bout winning but i pick leandre white over eddie alciea seeing that white beat him four times already, i think starkes may be to strong for eddie, i think by next year when these guys pro no one will beat eddie. i see eddie on the 2012 olympic team.
