they are from hollyoaks. Khans been on the paul o grady show twice! Kell should start doing these tv shows hes a better prospect then khan and hes better looking. He could be boxing answer to david beckham. I could just see him in a calvin klein advert.
Not too much new there .Did warren say that there has never been an olympic medalist to win the world title ? I didint hear a mention of prescott its not that long ago and i know he has moved on and is further along than he was before that fight but it should be raised. Khan ruled out fighting hatton after roach said he would like this to happen obviously there not on the same page

He said Britain has never had a gold medalist go on to win a world title and hopes James DeGale becomes the first.
Poor interview, mostly O'Grady mentioning numerous times about being at the fights and going into the dressing rooms. Nothing new was said, not worth a boxing fan watching at all really but probably did the job to the masses in terms of exposure.

God forbid "the masses" taking an interest in boxing. Maybe a bit more of that sort of thing and we'd all be watching the Froch fight this weekend and get to read about boxing every day in the national papers.

True. Once again a thread decended into an arrogant back slapping exercise that looks down on the "clueless masses". Its embarrassing.

No, just God forbid the masses taking an interest in Warren's excuse for boxing.
A bit more of 'this sort of thing' just increases Warren's stranglehold on boxing in this country, it doesn't bring any more exposure to real fights like Froch/Taylor.

That's because HS haven't promoted it to the masses, a little clip on Setanta News every so often is hardly going to help his case is it?
Hennessey doesn't have the clout to get these gigs, and there is a huge difference between the effect Warren has on 'the masses' and the impression of a promoter like Hennessey who actually wants to put on quality fights.
Its a typical O'grady interview. warren and khan on his show to plug there DVDs on his show. warren mensions Degale etc.. the usual rubbish. nothing new.

I don't think I said anything derogatory about casual boxing fans did I ? By "probably did the job to the masses in terms of exposure." i meant it would do the job of exposing boxing to the casual boxing fans , nothing more nothing less. They are "the masses" whether you like it or not, there aren't many hardcore boxing fans in comparison and if you find the term "masses" offensive when referring to casual boxing fans then that's your problem. If boxers appearing on shows like this gets more fans watching then i'm all for it, i was just saying it wasn't for the hardcore boxing fan. Is that ok with you uptight lot?
