i'm going with taylor by late stoppage or points, Froch's limitations were exposed in the Pascal fight - leaving himself wide open, poor work rate. Froch needs to step his game up if he's gonna win this win, but at the age of 31 I just think that's the way he fights which isn't good enough for world level.

I think it will be a close fight for a long time. I think Taylor has better footwork than Froch so he'll be moving around the ring, popping punches at Froch. Jab. One two. Taylor is very fast and Froch is wide open defensively.

I think Froch will press forward in the fight and try to take the fight to Taylor. I can see him landing some big shots but I can also see him taking some big shots. I think his uppercuts will play a huge part in the fight and I see him hurting Taylor with a punch he doesn't see, much like Magee was hurt.

Taylor may win most of the opening rounds but Froch will make a fight of it and will eventually drag Taylor into a war in my opinion and when that happens, he'll take Taylor out.

Froch KO10.
Good summing up!!! :TU: :TU:

Froch TKO 8 - I hope it doesn't go the distance - if it does lets hope Hennessy has vetted the judges!!!

carl froch uses his shoulders 2 deflect shot
dunno how but he does
so by all means he can keep himself wide open

froch will win UD

Froch, very late stoppage. I see it being very close for the first 8 rounds with both landing some big bombs but eventually Froch proving the stronger fighter down the stretch and eventually taking out a tiring Taylor around the 11th.

Is anyone purchasing the online PPV?

Froch by KO. Too hungry and too big. Taylor's heart isn't there anymore. He gets hurt in this one.

there are already threads about this but what the hell

i go with froch on a split or majority desision i think taylor will do the boxing but will go quiet once he's had a hard froch punch
taylor winning the early rounds with froch taking over by the middle rounds

This is the time for Froch to back up his smack talk, there is such a lot on the line for him.

It's going to be a good fight, but I suspect Taylor has the boxing skills to keep Froch at bay - Froch's much vaunted power couldn't dent Pascal and this fight will show for sure if it is so potent on the world scene.

Taylor has fought in better company, and although they have sometimes been against smaller fighters, they where still world class fighters. If those fights proved nothing esle it did show that Taylor has the boxing skills to mix and compete in this kind of class.

Personally I am not a huge Taylor fan, I think he was rushed into the Hopkins fight, and he doesn't do anything brilliantly - He happened to be in the right place at the right time, at a time when the US where clamouring for a new middleweight star to come through.

Is Froch really any better than Woodhall, Mcracken and Eastman? All failed in bids over the water, and that is another factor that has to be considered - Fighting away from Home in his biggest fight will have some bearing.

I've never fully jumped on the Froch bandwagon, but did used to be a fan in his early days - He is a frustrating fighter though, and in my opinion hasn't progressed to the best of his ability.

Oh and I hope he does win, else the list of excuses coming from G0mez is going to be very tiresome :DD

Nah, I'm only joking, good luck Carl, bring the title back home :D

Froch to win. I'm thinking (and I am biased) that Froch is gonna go mad and belt the sh!te out of him and Taylor will give up late on in the fight. Could be wishful thinking but I'm sticking with it. Come on Carl.

FROCH wins for me. I think he wants it more than taylor. Once taylor realises he cant dent froch's granite chin he will crumble. Also, Taylor is not as illusive or as quick as pascal , and that is why i see froch forcing a stoppage in the mid-late rounds
