Never heard of him, but looking at his weights, he has come in at under 200lbs, but now fights about 240lbs.

I'm guessing fat cu*t!

Yes he is, but a fairly durable one. Solid journeyman, will hopefully give Fury some rounds - and if he doesn't, that's an impressive result by young Tyson.

I think Audley dispatched this guy in 3 rounds. SHould be a simple one.

Yeah Audley got him out of there quickly but Greeley's been rounds with a bunch of other notable heavies before and since.

It would be expensive importing Yanks over here for 6/8 rounders but this is the sort of learning fight Fury neeeds at this stage of his career. Good choice of opponent

Disagree with that, not much difference between this guy and Luke Simpkin or someone similar.

I have no problem with Fury fighting Simpkin at this point, however Luke does get stopped when stepped up in class, Sexton, Dolan, Steeds, McDermott, Greenburg and Krence have all done that job on him.
Conversley Greeley tends to stick around much more and has been the distance with Chris Arreloa, Eddie Chambers, Kevin Johnson, Malik Scott and Timor Ibragimov to name a few

What's pointless about getting some risk free rounds under Fury's belt at this stage??

The only reason it's pointless is because the guy will cost more, why bother when a UK heavy will fight

Isnt it in the US on the undercard of Froch Taylor? hence showing the US audience what he can do against a fighter they might recognise as a "Us opponent" as mentioned by Coco (i think) above.

I think it's a good opponent.

The problem is, when Fury is running his mouth, it makes many believe he is more advanced than he is. But Fury is a baby in heavyweight terms and needs fights for experience. I just wish they'd admit that rather than talking about British titles this year. If he was fighting for a British title within 3 years that would be decent progression.

good opponent, good choice, durable, has staying power against named fighters, will obviously come to survive not to win, but if tyson shows well its a good result.

half of you fekkers cannot be pleased regardless.

He doesn't need to entertain yet he needs to learn

his entire career is based on the fact hes called Tyson Fury !!!

theres no diference between him and Scott Belshaw at this stage..both 6ft 7

Which is the reason he needs to be protected with learning fights on undercards
