A belter of a fight. Great stuff
I reckon Hall will rumble straight over the top of Small - all the SRCJJ bravado and BS will go out the window when he starts to eat hooks and crosses..

I had heard Ryan was fighting on the June 20th bill? Could anyone clarify whether this is true? Perhaps for a WBC eliminator?
Great fight btw. Presumably this will be on the Khan undercard. Could sway me going.

If you know Ryan, you will know that the term " lost his bottle" does not apply to him. He will go in with anyone -travelled around europe and sparred the far biggerMarcus Beyer and Sven Ottke respectively. I would imagine, a better fight has been made for him. I ceetaily don't think he is afraid of Antony Small, who I think can box slopy and has questionable mental attributes when under pressure, and I fully anticipated a Rhodes stoppage/knockout victory.search wrote:Looks like Rhodes lost his bottle alright
Now, truning to the Small- Hall fight, I actually, think Antony can win this one, as he is faster than Hall. If Hall catches him, I think Small will go, but on balance, I think Small is a bit to fluid and fleet footed for Hall. Will look forward to this fight a lot though.

Absolute bollocks.
No bottling at all.
I've no doubt there will be formal releases in due course.
He is Co Managed by Wazza and Coldwell.
Essentially due to contractual disputes Managerially, Rhodes was placed in an impossible situation.
Both have allegiances to differing Promotional outlets.
Remember Small is Managed and Promoted by Wazza.
The situation is very complex.
Rhodes has therefore voluntarily relinquished the title to enable those aspiring to get hold of the Lonsdale, to get their chance.
Rhodes has a warm up fight on Saturday and will then be challenging for titles beyond British level.

Quality British match up, good to see them fighting each other rather than picking on unknown Africans

Agreed Coco it's a good match up.
I honestly thought Small would be against the winner of McDonagh and Sexton.
Guess that's the natural next match up - the winners of these two fights against each other.

Coco - remember the British title, not just the Commonwealth is up for grabs.

Should be a belter. Shame Rhodes-Small isn't happening now but because of their opposing styles Small vs Hall may be an even better fight. I give Small a better chance than most here, he does have some skills to back up that big mouth of his but going off that demolition of Pryce you have to give the edge to Hall.

Re: anthony small v mathew hall
shame about the Rhodes situation really thought he had the beating of Small with his vast experience but this should be a cracker.
God dam fwank and his blatant positioning of Hall for title over Rhodes to make sure he has got another FFN lined up every other month

I like Small, but without putting him down, i dont think Ryan is ducking him.
He has bigger opportunites afoot it would seem.
Small vs Hall = good fight.

i think hall will ultimately smash the granny out of him but i wouldn't be surprised if he is slightly surprised by Small's handspeed early and maybe hits the deck.....black panther wrote:Riddick Blowe wrote:It's a good small hall fight![]()

There is no WAY Ryan Rhodes is ducking Small.............................Ryan would beat him 7 days a week. I expect an announcement soon and I bet Ryan has a bigger fight lined up.
Re: anthony small v mathew hall
Top fight this is!! Im going for Hall by KO inside of 8 rounds!!

I'd say it might even be the best small hall fight ever lolRiddick Blowe wrote:It's a good small hall fight

I agree Rhodes wouldn't need to duck Small. For a boxer of that calibre to duck anyone, let alone , no disrespect, Small, he may as well retire.
I don't know what you know, but I am reading into this that Rhodes didn't have a virus at all. Is that what you are saying?
Re: anthony small v mathew hall
wot a fight this one is I think small is a really good operator but I've got to agree with tony for Matty to finish it from the8th onwards

I don't know why Hall is being so heavily favoured. Sure the Pryce result was a very good one, but so far he's a one-hit wonder and it could be that Pryce was distracted/under-prepared. If Small keeps his composure early, he should win in rounds 4-6.
Re: anthony small v mathew hall
Hall is just too fit and too good for small. Hall mid-late stoppage. Dont be surprised if Hall takes him early, really early.
Re: anthony small v mathew hall
Oliver, I appreciate your opinion but Hall is different class to Small and i'm willing to beat on it with you.oliverfennell wrote:I don't know why Hall is being so heavily favoured.
