Baby Face Dimitrenko now vs. Julius Francis

Post by BubiScholz »

He replaces Ross Puritty because of an injury.

It would be interesting if Dimitrenko knocks him out in order to compare with Harrison.

Francis is not being matched easy in the twilight of his career is he? I hope he goes out with a win somewhere along the line, he deserves better than being fodder. I guess he's well paid for these assignments.

Christ, even Farnell wouldn't take a fight that sort of notice.
Julius is taking 100% advantage of the position his carer is in now, that's pretty smart stuff really. What's Herbie Hide done with the twilight of his career (and he had more left than Julius)?

i have most fights of Alexander Dimitrenko. he is a good boxer and age is on his side. the question will be his chin. he fights similar to wladimir klitschko and is trained by the same trainer. i think he can go to european level. i think he will be exposed at world level.

he is obviously good offensively, but like you say the chin and heart have yet to be tested.....

Was a decent amateur, although one of my pals beat him.....( and lost to him)

depends, if Sasha catches him with a few decent ones Julius may think about cutting his losses and getting out of there....

i am not sure how much training Julius has been doing recently and secondly i am not sure what Dimetrenkos hand speed is like.... he will need to be sharp to stop Julius

It's a good thing Francis is a nautral surviver going into a fight that heavy.

Francis is a walking punching ball. this had nothing to do with boxing. it was a bit disappointing that Dimitrenko didn´t knock him out

and still took him the distance.........hmm Julius is a good old seasoned pro who can make anyone look below par, he just doesnt ahve a lot of ofence to offer these days. I think I'd like him to retire to be honest though, he just seems to be filling in for people which is now way for a once decent fighter to end up. Though having said that he isnt exactly getting the crap beat out of him is he.
