"I really thought Kotelnik beat [Junior Witter]."

How ddi he arrive at that conclusion.Would love to see a Khan -Witter fight. Big payday for Junior and a straightforward win for him.Ko all the way.

He's actually got a point. I thought Kotelnik did enough to win.

I've been smoking the same stuff. I thought Kotelnik beat Witter, too. I thought Kotelnik pretty much schooled him in the second half. If they fought again, Kotelnik wouldn't be so wary and passive in the first six rounds and he'd do a number on Witter. :box:

Fwank would never allow it!

Me too.

He also has a history of getting stiffed by judges(see both M'Baye fights), Khan's losing to Kotelnik, he's made him mad with his comments the other week.

I think ( from memory) I had Kotelnik 1 up.

Good fighter.

It was close - 1st half all Witter 2nd half all Kotelnik.

I hope Khan wins his world title shot, but worry over his chin and am not sure he has the power to fend the champ off. I hope I'm wrong though

I felt Witter won that fight, he dominated the first hald and was tired at the end, but won more of the rounds. The trouble is, people remeber the end with him being tired, but he took the fight, I think. I wonder if Khan said this as a response to Juniors comments?

people seem to blame Khan for getting a title shot which is good work by his promoter, fighters like Murray wonder why their careers seem to be going no where should look at who promotes them and ask "why arent i getting these shots or fights?" Love him or hate him allegedly allegedly gets the job done which is what he is meant to do.
he moves his fighters up to world ratings with the seemingly easiest fights. but i think history has proven that a lot of his boys just aren't up to it (arthur, cook, jennings). it begs the question if they'd fought world class comp on the way up, would they have been better when it mattered?

I thought it was a draw (not sure if I posted differently at the time? )

Kotelnik could of won though if he would have stepped it up.

I thought Witter JUST nicked it, though the draw would also have been fair in my book, and I wouldn't have argued either way.

It was really a fight of two halves in my opinion. Witter won one half, Kotelnik the other.

The answer to your question is Shisha. And a lot of it by all accounts - my brother says he sees him at one particular shisha cafe almost everytime he goes. Isn't that stuff just as bad as smoking? Ah well. And I thought Witter won but it was close.

Anyone who disputes that, please post your scorecard. Witter won 7-5
Got to agree there.

Witter won the fight - but Witter himself made that fight a lot closer than what it should have been.

With regards to Khan - Junior Witter on a bad night, p*ssed and one arm broken would beat Amir Khan!!!

best thing that happened to Witter and us was him was losing title, made him realise that he needs to work to be a champion and gives us rest from his Hatton remarks. Kotelnik will have too much for khan and will win UD

A lot of the time you will find that if the "underdog" makes it a close fight or the "Favourite" doesnt perform then people who dont score the fight go with the underdog. whcih to be honest isnt right but is easily done

Kotelnik did nothing from rounds 1-6, all Witter rounds and Witter won the 12th but Kotelnik too him down the stretch, Witter really couldn't figure Kotelnik out with his single shots.
