What are members bets for the next couple of weeks?

I have 500 on froch beating taylor. I have slowly built it up on betfair since the start of the year.

Next Week i have a multi bet on the four M's

Manny, Moore, Munroe and Mcdermott.

be careful on betting on Froch. i feel he will win myself but Taylor is no mug and has the hometown advantage. If it goes to the cards (high probability), then Froch might get done. It's too risky for too little reward if you ask me.

I'm sure the RealDeal understands those points.
I'm also guessing that he believes the Jermain Taylor of 2007 and 2008 is way inferior to the guy who fought Hopkins twice.
In which case anything odds-against for Froch is good value.

Personally I agree with him, and will also be having a ton on Froch.

If Taylor can bounce back to the 2005 form I accept that he will probably win, but he may well have 'gone' as far as the elite level goes.

Thanks i started of with putting 50 in my account and all i bet on is boxing and tennis. If froch loses i will be back down to my orginal 50. I always bet my maxium on Nadal on clay as i see it as free money. I put 300 on williams the other week against wright and i won 130 from it. Davies beating emounds by ko from the start of the month was a good earner as well. I won't have a single bet on the hatton fight as i really can't call it. I will probably just have a bet on the fight not lasting the distance.

Haye KO2 is a possibility. Haye KO1 isn't going to happen I don't think. He usually is very cautious in the first round unless he's in against a bum. I would guess unless Wlad engages (which he won't) then Haye might not even throw a right-hand.

Haye KO2 is interesting though.

All i have been hearing for this past week is Wladimir saying he will knockout Haye out in the 12th. I agree that anything under 10 rounds is a certain winner.

I would say Froch-Taylor is such a close fight that I would keep stakes to a minimum. Might have a 5-10 fun bet on the Froch win but 500 quid, hmmm, risky business.

Best bet Ive done in recent times with boxing was laying Napa in the Bouziane fight. Laid him at ridiculous price of 1.5, laid 50 quid so would have only paid 25 back if he had won, after 2 rouns I was laughing and laid a load more at 1.8 and 1.9. Ended up winning 100 quid which is a lot for me as I rarely gamble lots.

In an overdue rematch Danny Williams defends his British heavyweight title against John McDermott at the Crowtree Leisure Centre in Sunderland on May 2.
These two gave us a close, exciting, controversial contest for the same title at Dagenham last July. McDermott hurt the champion in the middle rounds but his conditioning let him down and Williams, despite THREE points lost for various infringements (from his favourite referee [not] Dave Parris), was able to survive and bang to the body and use his greater experience to retain on a majority decision. On McDermott's own manor there were inevitable cries of 'robbery!' This rematch is obviously in order.
McDermott, a blubbery 29-year-old from Horndon in Essex, certainly made amends for a previous crack at the British title in 2005 when Bedford bear Matt Skelton floored him four times and mauled him inside a round. "Big Bad John" came back with solid wins over Scott Gammer and Pele Reid and is showing power to go with quick hands and neat boxing skills these days, but he still fights in spurts. His dad Stan, by the way, was a huge puncher with no chin; swings and roundabouts, as they say, but Stan always had a go and would have been proud of his son's effort against Williams.
Williams, just as chubby as the challenger (he once weighed-in at 20st 8lbs), is on the downslide of a long career at the age 35, a pro since 1995, but the Brixton Bomber can still hurt oponents but can be hurt himself but hangs in there and has the guts and the natural firepower to fire his way back into it, often onwards to victory. He survived three knockdowns at the hands of Kazakhstani brawler Konstantin Airich in Spain last May to win in the seventh round but Polish thumper Albert Sosnowski finally got to him in eight rounds at York Hall in November. Nevertheless, nice guy Danny seems determined to carry on making a few quid - and why not as a British champ, a title he won by stopping hitherto unbeaten Scott Gammer on 'away' territory in Wales in 2007. He also seems determied to make up for his early career when he regularly tensed up (Tyson apart) and didn't perform to his best.
Thankfully, the now laid-back Londoner did us all a favour by bursting the bubble of Audley Harrison in late 2005 and doesn't worry about anything too much. He goes with the flow. Will he beat McDermott again? The Sosnowski factor makes things very interesting in Danny's last fight (McDermott has not fought since their first British title encounter last summer), although the muscled Pole has long been avoided and it is better to at least have a fight than sit round and rust, as long as the fight is not too severe, of course. I'm not sure it was.
One thing is for sure, this one will be tight again and I lean towards the improved, fresher McDermott.

Get in, only seen his first fight on BEN ages ago but it was a great KO. I'm sure at the time they mentioned he had over 100 KO's as an amateur.

Got a fiver on at 15/1 on Betfair. Any idea if the zdf.de site is showing a stream? I can't work it out.
