Oliver, I appreciate your opinion but Hall is different class to Small and i'm willing to beat on it with you. :TU:
OK, but how? I live overseas.
I'm like the kid who has been thrown out of the cinema for being noisy and sneaked back in through the backdoor. How much are you willing to bet? Lets say £75

Proper fight this. Any word on venue yet? Will get along to this if it's 'oop north'. Always been big on both fighters. Fancy Hall tho. Has looked the business in recent fights.

It's an interesting fight at this stage of their careers. I can easily picture Hall bouncing Small off of the floor like he did with Pryce, but can just as easily see Small coming at Hall from all angles and forcing the ref to intervene. I'm not convinced either will make the grade above domestic level, but matched against each other should provide a few fireworks.

"Matthew's Commonwealth champion and got the title in style beating Bradley Pryce," Warren told setanta.com.

"Ryan Rhodes has vacated the title rather than face Anthony Small so this is a great fight on paper and I think in the flesh it will be a great fight.

This is a great fight but I'm gutted that Rhodes-Small is not happening.

Fair enough Rhodes had an infection but surely the fight could have been rescheduled, Small was up for that.

Rhodes is a great boxer and a nice guy so I wish him all the best as he moves forward but as a fan I am still disappointed he never tried to shut small up in the ring.

No bottling at all.
I've no doubt there will be formal releases in due course.
He is Co Managed by Wazza and Coldwell.
Essentially due to contractual disputes Managerially, Rhodes was placed in an impossible situation.
Both have allegiances to differing Promotional outlets.
Remember Small is Managed and Promoted by Wazza.
The situation is very complex.
Rhodes has therefore voluntarily relinquished the title to enable those aspiring to get hold of the Lonsdale, to get their chance.
Rhodes has a warm up fight on Saturday and will then be challenging for titles beyond British level.

I think he made the comment to get a reaction out of you mate...

Rhodes has plenty of bottle, Vuma was a far bigger threat than Small. The guy is full of shit and when he stepped up he got whooped. It will happen again v Hall.

Hall Vs Rhodes is a way way better fight than Rhodes Vs Small. Hall will win both by KO.

Matty hall is too slow and easy to hit for Ryan. I think Ryan stops the pair of them( Hall and Small), I really do.

disappointing news that rhodes-small isn't going ahead now.

Whatever happened behind the scenes, small has come out of this looking good, small was fully prepared to fight on a hayemaker promotion, rhodes pulls out with a chest infection and then vacates the belt so the fight doesn't happen.

Anyone that believes that RR is scared of Small does not know F*ck all about boxing, Warren doesn't actually believe that, its just an angle to sell the fight.

It's possible that he would pull out with a cold 3 weeks before, and then a while later give up his title to box a Hungarian journeyman instead. :geek:
