Maguire wins decision, wrong for me i thought it was a draw.
Maguire seems to have alot of work today, he didn't listen to his corner once.

Seems there may be some issues with Maguire from the comments of Bunce and then Adam Booth. Adam Booth mentioned that he needs to "grow up" and said a draw would have been "fair". Adam didn't seem happy......

Personally i wouldn't of said that if i was Booth, i know he was annoyed with Maguire, but i'm a believer that things should be kept behind closed doors.

I love Adam Booth's response - how many other promoters would admit their boxer didn't deserve the decision and offer the "opponent" a rematch. Refreshing to see.

I agree for us, It was refreshing to see Adam Booth's honesty but I can imagine that Maguire will probably not be too happy watching it back.

Ryan Rhodes on interview, said that the Small fight wouldn't of helped him so thats why he gave up the British title , and that he's going to go for the EU title , as that will help his world title asperations, the EU title is held by Lukas Konecny!!

To be fair Lucas is a very solid european level fighter - tough as nails, holds two wins over current Middleweight European champion Khoren Gevor and by all accounts gave Sergei Dzinduruk a very tough fight. If I was Rhodes, I wouldn't take the fight in Germany.

I actually agree with Ryan that the Small fight wouldn't have helped him and at this stage of his career he should look for a bigger opportunity. But Konecny over Small is not really what I would have envisaged.....

"The Shot Gun from Sheffield" ??
"Rumbling Ryan" ???

Whatever happened to "Spice Boy"? I suppose at 32 he's a bit old for that name, much like Barrera isn't much of a baby-face anymore.

Interviewer: "David, the Valuev-Chagaev rematch will shown on Setanta, will you be watching that fight?"

David Haye: "I don't think so, the first fight wasn't very exciting..."

Interviewer: " Just to repeat myself, Chagaev-Valuev will be shown on Setanta...WILL YOU BE WATCHING THE FIGHT?"

David Haye: "Oh....er...HELL YEAH!"
