Spud what utter shite you talk sometimes
Of course Taylor deserves a rematch - he would have won the fight if he had survived the last round.
Fair play to Froch for pulling it out of the fire but lets not go overboard here, Kessler would kick Froch's arse and dont get me started on what Calzaghe would have done to Carl.
Re-match in Nottingham has to be the call for me.
Then give Froch a couple of easier fights to try and iron out the glaring weaknesses he has - he will taste the canvas a lot more now mark my words.
Bute and Kessler are better

Re: Carl "Bad Intentions" Froch
Totally outclassed but what a finish by Froch! Glad he won and I do like the fact he'll fight anyone. But he won't stand a chance against Kessler!
Re: Carl "Bad Intentions" Froch
Had taylor won, Froch would not have got a rematchSpud wrote:Reading a lot of the articles in America - Taylor is bleating he wants a rematch - Froch should tell him to f*ck right off.
I am stunned Froch had to get off the canvas in the 3rd!!!
Bloody brilliant win.
I can see rematches with Taylor AND Pascal, provided each brings something new to the table. Like Pascal beating WBC light heavy champ Diaconu.
I reckon Taylor rematch IF they'll go to Notts.
Re: Carl "Bad Intentions" Froch
Why not give Froch credit for stopping a Taylor who was boxing brilliantly? 2 judges only had Taylor 4 up, press row had it a split draw going into last round, only 1 point in it either way.Wrists wrote:Spud what utter shite you talk sometimes

Bute and Kessler don't have movement or speed or angles like Taylor. While they are classy fighters, and dangerous, their styles may be more suited to Froch. Froch probably beat the worst style (for him), away from home. Hard cicumstances, yet he still gets the win.
Bute better? Have you seen Bute v Andrade? That was a poor man's Froch v Taylor and Bute was the Taylor.
Froch has some flaws but they will be magnified when you take a fight in hard circumstances.

I wish more fighters were like Froch.
Froch proves that if you are going to gob off in boxing, you better deliever in the ring.
I have the utmost respect for him & fighters of that ilk.![[icon_notworthy.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_notworthy.gif)

Re: Carl "Bad Intentions" Froch
Surely a fight at home, before a big crowd is in order for the next fight. There is that ITV deal to think of. And money to make.
Does Taylor REALLY want a rematch? Taylor at last chance saloon, should come to the UK for the fight.
But I have a feeling fights with Bute and Kessler would be better.
2 sensational fights in a row now. Froch is delivering.

Its your post which is sh*te!!! - don't come on here slagging me off when you could write your knowledge on a postage stamp!!!
Froch fulfilled his mandatory obligations - just remember Taylor made it perfectly clear he did not and would not come to Nottingham - I disagreed with Froch going to America in the first place but nonetheless he called Taylors bluff and whooped him albeit in the last round!!! - why the f*ck should Froch give Taylor a rematch when its a mandatory fight and the challenger was trying to call all the shots and came unstuck!!!
Froch and Hennessy should freeze Taylor out of the equation!!!
Now Mr Wrists - f*ck off and come back when you are ready to take me on!!!
Re: Carl "Bad Intentions" Froch
There was a lot of hassle making this fight.
Move on to Bute, then Kessler.
Bute has proven to be stoppable!
Wait for Taylor to bring something extra to the plate.
Hennessy said a rematch "doesn't make sense". I don't think rematch happens as it's a hard fight and Froch has just beaten the bugger
Got to say, fighters like Froch and Haye make it worthwhile being a fan.

Re: Carl "Bad Intentions" Froch
Froch should leave Kessler well alone for now!!!
Always have seriously rated Kessler and for me he is the NO1 Super Middle at the moment - Froch deserves to earn some decent dough - Hennessy should be clever in matching Froch - he is entitled to a couple of voluntary defences - in addtion Hennessy should also think of his promotional company - he could have a couple of decent shows on the back of Froch and other fighters could come knocking - Hennessy should use this opportnity to "kill 2 birds with one stone" whilst its there.

Ya gonna get a lot of people saying Tyalor deserves a reamtch but thats only based on his performance. His attitude and that of his handlers in the build up was nothing short of selfish.
Froch, in only his 25th fight has gone to America and ruined one of their top guys. Your a credit to British Boxing Carl. An absolute credit. Well done mate.

Froch you legend.
Re: Carl "Bad Intentions" Froch
What's the mandatory situation - are the WBC making him fight another mandatory or is there room to fit something else in?
IMO Froch should fight a Green or Bika, at home. Then make the big fights ASAP. Bute first, then Kessler.
Got to say, Froch v Pascal and Taylor are 2 of the best super middle fights I've ever seen. Can't complain that we're not getting exciting, competitive fights, can we?

Ward (#2) v Miranda (#7) winner, then I reckon.jammidodger wrote:the top 10 wbc challengers are:

6. Anthony Mundine (Australia)
7. Edison Miranda (Colombia)
8. Robert Stieglitz (Germany) INTL
9. Sakio Bika (Cameroon)
so im taking it Froch can fight anyone in his next fight?

be another fast counter puncher, of Taylor's ability (if not accomplishments). Sounds like hard work for not that much gain, IMO.banjo wrote:I'd try and make Froch v Mundine, two loud and brash personalities, England v Australia(although I'd suspect a lot of Aussies would be cheering on Froch), prime time UK it'd be a treat.jammidodger wrote:the top 10 wbc challengers are:

Re: Carl "Bad Intentions" Froch
Dont know what the exact ruling is - but normally after a champion has fulfilled his mandatory requirements in this cas Froch has - he then has so many months before his next one is due - in this time he can have voluntary defences.Autobarn wrote:What's the mandatory situation - are the WBC making him fight another mandatory or is there room to fit something else in?
Re: Carl Froch still champion
I predicted a close win for Taylor, first thing I saw when I logged on to boxrec was Froch's name at in the #1 division rankings.... sometimes its good to be wrong. Nice one Carl.
