Howard Davis 30 Punches in 3 seconds

Post by nfc90210 »

A clip of former Olympic gold medallist Howard Davis throwing thirty punches in three seconds at age fifty-three. He looks well for his age.

There is a brief interview on the clip as well, and then the demo follows...

Also, just a quick question, why do you guys think Howard Davis was never able to win a world title as a pro?

Poor chin and no power was the reason he never won a world title.

-Probably too nice a guy, that and the epitome of pure popcorn.

Glad to see he has his marbles intact, in good shape, and involved as a trainer.

Davis was also a little unlucky. In his first title shot, he had to go to Glasgow Scotland and fight Watt for the title, and lost a close fight. In his other title shot, he lost a really close fight to Rosario in Puerto Rico. I thought he really won that fight; certainly arguable.

As An Amateur Howard Davis Jr Was Great. I Feel As A Pro He Lost The Desire You Need To To Be A Great Pro. He Put A Lot Of The Blame For His Not Doing So Well On His Father.
