How are you going to stay up on Saturday?

Post by doctorboxing »

I assume most people on here will be watching Hatton-Pacman live and as its from vegas, it will probably be a 4am start.

How are you going to stay up for it?

I am at the football during the day, then back to a friends for a BBQ where I will drink copious amounts of alcohol which I hope will keep me up from the time that finishes to fight time. My wife will be kept up by my inane drunken blabbering and thus will have little choice but to watch the fight with me.

Then, much to her annoyance, I will insist on watching it again sober the next day so I can see what actually happened!

I have no idea how i'm going to manage next weekend. I'm going to the Sunderland show before so i reckon i'll get home at around midnight. Then i have to be ready to leave the house at 7am on Sunday morning to go to Liverpool for the Newcastle match and somehow fit Hatton -Pacman in between! :-?

Going to show at The National Theatre and will just sleep and set about 5 alarms. Never missed a fight I wanted to watch, sometimes even when I forget the alarm. The body just knows

I find the best thing to do is to go out drinking that night go to a house party after the pub till about 4 stroll home and watch it but the amount of times if got to the 4th round of a fight and woke in the morning with kebab down my shirt may suggest that this is not the best strategy. This particular weekend ill be watching the munster - leinster match in the pub so i dont know how well ill hold up , i can see it being one of those evenings where anything could happen which i love ( ah the joys of being young and free). Ill try and see if any of the lads are interested in this one and chip in for the ppv if i can still stand and talk

Normally I just have a few drinks & stay up, but the wait is a bastard, torture!

However, I might have a little kip for a few hours because I want to alert for this one! No distractions or interference!
