McDermott/Williams-Who Wins?
McDermott/Williams-Who Wins?
Just looking for some opinions. I didn't see the 1st go but heard McD had Williams hurt bad and nearly out. Williams is pretty unpredictable. Any insight would be appreciated and if anybody has the weights and condition, that would be a huge plus...Thanks!

I like McDermott for an upset
Re: McDermott/Williams-Who Wins?
God knows how Williams has trained, if he has at all. If he fights decent then Williams KO4.

Gotta love Danny, dont know why.....just do.
I hope he beats McDermott again and provides partial recovery for his ebbing career.

Re: McDermott/Williams-Who Wins?
I had Williams winning the first fight by a point - I can't remember my card, what with all the points took off and that 10-8 round.Terry D wrote:Sorry, I just get the terrible feeling that we will once again see a dead-eyed Williams walk very slowly around the ring, get his guard bounced about, lose his balance, nearly go down, almost recover, spit his shield, get penalised for low-blows, get knocked down, score a knockdown, tell his corner between rounds that he is now officially retired, suffer a terrible cut/injury/kick in the balls, walk away with a bemusing points win and then tell Adam Smith that, "I do not actually want to be here tonight!"Dioufy wrote:Me.
In short it will be typically Dannyesque.
Although, I think if Danny turns up, then he should stop McDermott. In his interviews he's been saying that he's done over 100 rounds of boxing, unlike only 18 when he first fought McDermott, so perhaps he might turn up. If he doesn't then I wouldn't be surprised to see Williams knocked out.
A real crossroads fight for him.
If Danny loses this then he should never fight again. I hate to say it, but Fury beats McDermott - he's not British quality.

never, ever, ever believe anything Danny says about his preparation for a fightDioufy wrote:

I must say, I am a skeptic when it comes to Danny.Counter-puncher wrote:never, ever, ever believe anything Danny says about his preparation for a fightDioufy wrote:

Re: McDermott/Williams-Who Wins?
Anyone know what time the weigh-in is? I assume we'll see two fat cu*ts on the scales again.
Re: McDermott/Williams-Who Wins?
As alway with Danny, anything can happen, depending on him being ready or not.
IF he turns up, Danny should take it imo

Anyone remember the shower curtain around his bed? With Danny claiming it was his "Oxygen Tent"? What an absolute legend.

Think McDermott will do him over this time. He'll start quicker and hurt Danny and it will be over inside six.
Danny's been looking pretty bad for a while now, his balance looks bad and his punch resistance isn't what it was.

I think Williams will win the last fight McDermott had a good night and Williams had a bad night Williams looked a class above him when he tried to box him
Re: McDermott/Williams-Who Wins?
Have the weights come in for McD and Williams?
