Danny Williams' trainer Jim McDonnell has rejected Audley Harrison as a possible opponent for his man, describing the Olympic champion as 'Second Division'.

He's right. At the moment Harrison is domestic level and Danny is in the mix on the world scene.
For some reason, dunno why but I would prefer to see Danny fight Vitali than Ruiz, gut feeling is that it's a better fight for him.
Although my gut feeling is usually crap

Fingers crossed that Danny can win his next couple of fights and by that time Audley has actually started steping up in comp

Maybe but I think Danny might have a good chance of busting klit up on the inside.
And I don't think he is going to get a much better money fight than the guy who beat Tyson, esp as King fighters aren't gonna fight him

Vitali is going for Baby Mesi or Toney. Williams must prove if he is a new top ten boxer first to get a title spot. Wiliams could go for Gomez, where he would lose clearly. Or what about the Tuaman? He could send another old guy to retirement?

Mesi won't be fighting again, certainly not until he produces the medical reports to the Nevada state athletic commission, who have suspended him indefinetly.

Toney is scheduled to take a warm up against Rydell Booker.

I know Klitchsko looks vulnerable, but he's very very tough, and he hits hard, though not with amazing technique. Danny would have a chance, but I think Vitali is just too tough and strong.

However, who knows just how good Danny will be in his next fight?

Danny would be seriously pulverised by Klitschko, by either Klitschko. People forget just how poor Danny is right now but once again it will show when he faces someone good.

I think going in with Klit and looking good which I think he would, win or lose would keep him in the mix more so than being stuck in a bore with Ruiz in a fight I really see him losing.
I agree klitchsko is tough, but with Danny's confidence sky high and a fairly static robotic target to get on the inside of, i think he will have sucess. klitchsko I think is still well beatable, losing to a fat, out of condition Lewis and beating old Sanders and a terrible Johnson hasn't really impressed me.
Maybe i'm deluding myself...

Williams has won against a 38-year-old-guy who made his last top fight rather 15 years ago. Since then he was getting worse and worse. this is reality. Williams would make the most money with a rematch if Tyson is stupid enough to come back in the ring. Another option would be a fight on the isle vs. Superhype Harrison for a lot of pounds. I pray for the last option. then one hype is over.

I don´t think Williams gets a huge money fight outside of England. Boxing experts don´t give a fornicate on Tyson for many years. So they don´t give a fornicate on Williams now. It is in Britain very important because after the retirement of LL there was a lack of real good heavies.

What about a fight vs. Sam at the 4th September? He is looking for an opponent. I would bet huge money on a KO for Sam.

What the fornicate are you on about mate, seriously, you really are talking some shit. Maxboxing has had story after story on Tyson, there were four interviews with him prior to the fight and video footage of him training, how many other fighters get that much coverage, answer, none.

The English newspapers, which usually don't give a shit about boxing, have all carried news of Danny's victory?

Why do you think that is? Simple, Tyson is the best known name in boxing, even now, never mind the fact that he is a shell of what he was, his name was such they were charging $1500 a ticket for a ringside seat for a non-title 10 rounder against a guy nobody had heard of.

Anyone who beats Tyson goes on to make money, even at this stage of his career.

Seriously, you don't seem to have much understanding of boxing as a business if you think there is any incentive for Danny to face Samil Sam, outside of proving something to himself, there is no point in making this fight, there's fornicate all money in it, and it doesn't improve his standing.

Fighting Sam is a fight that wouldnt pay him well enough and is a step back. Wheter you agree or not that IS the case. Danny is looking at a WBC / IBF / WBO / WBA belt not european now, such is the profile of the man that beat the man. Whether this is right or worng is open to conjecture til we have seen him in action again but as I state he is now elevated up and past the likes of Sam and Krasniqi.

he would lose again vs. Sam and would be outboxed by Krasniqi. But it´s logical that he won´t fight them. after beating Tyson it would not look good to lose vs. Sam or Krasniqi. so he fights some other guys. but who?

nobody gives him a title fight except maybe superhype Harrison. Let Williams beat 2 top ten fighters in the future. if he does this and wins both fights i will congratulate him. but i don´t think he is able to. we´ll see.

you are totally wrong. Sam is a national hero in turkey. and people who know boxing know that he was world champion 1999 in Super Heavyweight as an amateur. there is a boxing world outside britain and the USA, guys.

Amateur boxing doesn't mean a thing to the average sports fan, outside of america where they hype their olympic prospects to hell.

Face it, Sam is a virtually unknown fighter in world terms, and couldn't draw his own curtains. You think that anyone in the heavyweight division gives a toss about Sam, well they don't.

Christ JC Gomez kicked his butt, and he can't even get a decent fight.
