Emerz,

I will not put all of ths down to Floyd Snr you know - yeah okay he is a bit eccentric and yeah it would not surprise me to see him walk away with his chest of money - but on the other side I was working for Fight Academy on both the Urango and Castillo fights and there were spats then - there was also clear reports in one of the broadsheets at the time of the PBF fight and now this.

I am not saying these rows are serious - some of them are not and are extremely minor and yes a lot of its down to its a bit stressful on all the team in a lead up to a big show - some may not believe that - but a BIG show puts everyone on edge and this seems to happen quite a lot in my opinion with Team Hatton.

I guess I could have saidall of the above by saying - don't just blame Floyd Snr!!! :TU:

Just read on fightnews that it's been rubbished.

If he's turning up late for sparing, then he should be dragged across the coals. Did anyone see him on Steve's show yesterday? He needs subtitles more than Enzo.

There's definitely trouble at mill though, isn't there, with Floyd saying as much at the press conf. What a f*** up from Hatton's point of view, the last thing he needs just before such a high pressure fight.
If he loses tomorrow night, you can be sure he'll be saying his training camp was a bit of a nightmare.

He's carried Ricky's gym bag. Isn't that enough? Careful. You might get banned from event Stu.

There's more chance of the Pope snogging a man on the Vatican balcony than a truthful publication being released by Team Hatton.

fm snr is an ar$ehole simple, his poetry is that of an 8 yr old.
dj talent has more skill & charisma :!: .
he is living his dreams through his son,& its getting really boring,as he act's like he's ali claiming he's the greatest of alltime @ coaching.
hatton is shreud tho hiring beard to pirate mw coaching skills obviously for his roll as coach for hatton promotions,in the future as he wont pay mw dollar.
also hatton likes showing off to his clan, spitting water over his trainers etc.a sighn he thinks he's boss, which any top coach or gaffer wont suffer.
it's six of one half a dozen of the other, not a great sighn this unsettling rift tho.id ef him off, let him walk, knock his money get beard or fly graham for the corner :D .
that should earn him a return with mw :DDD

Hatton is a spitter? makes you wonder why the Witter fight wasn't taken on poetic grounds alone...

Mayweather's a loudmouth, but he didn't exactly do too badly polishing off Guzman (apart from being seemingly unable to control his weight), and DLH swears by him. I suspect that there's no way that Oscar would tolerate having to listen to Floyd Snr claim credit for every single on of DLH's successes if he wasn't an outstanding trainer.

In fact, at one stage, I thought he was going to transform Bajado into a brilliant pressure fighter who could slip and slide in the pocket.

That said, he also demands centre stage, and is a braggart, and that might clash with Hatton's down to earth manner. Maybe coming late is grating with Hatton and he's been training with Beard before Mayweather gets there -- which Floyd would clearly loathe.

But these talks of clashes are hardly new. There have been clashes and talk of clashes within the Hatton camp before almost every fight for a while now. I will say this, though: For both Mayweather and Urango, there was talk of problems -- Mayweather problems in camp, Urango more problems and the cold -- and in both fights he performed poorly.

These reports of problems, when combined with the reports that he struggled against the talented southpaw novice concerns me. He's never fought well against southpaws, and that's a concern.

I also think that Terry D has it bang on: if they lose, even if he doesn't want to split with Mayweather, he may end up doing so, because Mayweather will put all -- ALL -- the blame on Hatton and the people around him. And he'll spill the beans on everything and spin the whole thing -- and the media will drink it like it was manna. And Hatton will feel he has to counter that -- get his side of the story -- and before you know it, we'll have "Hatton in War of Words with Trainer" headlines.

Hatton's been lucky about the Graham saga, because he's been able to dominate the information that comes out, and therefore get his side of the story there. But the only reason he was able to do that was because Graham is the classiest of class acts.

Mayweather... well... not so much.

If they lose, prepare for an interesting week.

Trainers train. Fighters fight. Trainers are pleased with success. Fighters earn it. Fighters win, fighters lose. Trainers don't.

Lets not turn boxing into the Premier League where the managers are the stars.

Feeling contrary today.

Well, quite, David. But that's not what Floyd thinks. Have you ever seen a DLH press conference? It's all about Mayweather. All of it. Now, that probably shows he's a good trainer, because DLH wouldn't tolerate it if he didn't feel he really needed him, but jeez.

Well, I have to say that the late to training thing was ridiculous when watching it on 24/7. Hatton was there bright and early and left to sit and wait while Mayweather was stopping to get fast food.
