What a great time to be a british fan... froch haye hatton

Post by josh fg »

I have been following Boxing seriously for about 10 years now and as far as I'm concerned this is the best time to support british fighters. Win or lose I'm proud of the main fighters we produce Froch; fighting the best option at suprer middleweight, Hatton; fighting the pound 4 pound #1 and Haye taking a massivly short end of the purse to go for the heavyweight title. After years of hearing Calzaghe complaining Ottke wants too much money to fight him, Harrison explaining Richel Hersissia is a world beater and warren explaining why Dennis Holbaek Pedersen was a better fight than Junior Witter I no longer feel the need to explain away or appoligise for inferior fights!

Just thought I'd share...

yeah brit boxing is pretty strong now.
if ricky pulls this off, then the pressure is on haye to deliver.

felt sorry for amir at the weigh in, after he got booed he just kinda hung around toward the back of the stage looking sad.

Did Amir get booed?

I missed the full weigh in and just caught a little bit of footage of the fans that attended late last night when I got in. Nearly all Brits.

the attitude of fans towards Khan makes me really hope the kid wins a world title one day...

just not against Kotelnik. it'd wreck my good recent predicting form

I would like to apologise for this awful and needless example of drunk posting!

No need Josh, been there many a time!

As for Amir getting booed. Well, that is a disgrace.
It shows just the type of "fan" that are following Hatton out there right now. Clearly missed their flight to Magaluf and wouldn't know a left hook form a butchers hook.
