It's obvious he's just an old hack who has been around too long, he cannot be bothered to do the work.
Although I am not a big fan of Michael Katz' style, he does at least, even after decades in the sport, take the time to speak to fighters and actually do the research, it's the difference between being a proper journo and a wanker.

Hey J.cheers, JAmes did too and a few other David Payne for one also.
I must admit I havent actually seen the fight yet just read about 20 reports and news bulletins plus what they said on the big fight spesh,so cant comment on the tactics as yet, but does sound like it wasnt exactly how I thought it would go think i predicted later in the BBN's pred league 7th or 9th I dont recall. And certainly not in that manner!
I also never bought the tyson hype it was whether danny was imtimidated or not baiscally, I never have, I didnt with Lewsi and saw no reason to now to be honest. And im just giving the US lads a bit of light hearted goading they dish enough out!!!![]()
oh I won 20 quid but I dont do bookies its a principle I have (i do have one then lol!) off a mate.
Mind you as we all know for everyone one you get right, you get five wrong,
I stated quite strongly ALL week that WILLIAMS SHOULD win the fight and if he didn't I didn't want to hear another thing from him. I still had my reservations aas to whether he would do it but I'm pleased he did.
It was also hugely satisfying to see my other prediction come to fruition. The one where Tyson and Roach look at each other in the corner after the third and they're both thinking 'SHIT'.
And tell me did Roach actually have anything to say between rounds? Can I also request we add the supposedly straight talking, honest, non-nonsense Roach to the huge pile of crap talking, pay-cheque taking trainers Tyson has hired.
The entourage left because the money had, not because Tyson or Roach got rid of them. And Tyson cheated on his training as much in this fight as the least fifteen.
HE'S SCH-ER-OT and has been for ten years.
As for journalists. Jason Probst remains the best by a country mile.
Dougie and Steve are top draw too and our own Bob Mee is a very effective fight-reporter - he conveys the action well without disappearing up his own ass.

I had Danny at 5-1 only, shit odds, and a stupid 80-1 bet on Williams to win KO1, don't know what possessed me there. I contemplated putting a 5ver on every round from 1-6, but then thought about what would happen if Williams lost, more money down the drain. I would have got 80-1 on the 4th round. Bollocks!
